What's the best Final Fantasy game, ever?

I played Final Fantasy III DS and Final Fantasy XII, and they both sucked.

Today, I tried out Final Fantasy X. Played it for three hours, and it's relatively good. I like it, for the most part. I just wish the game wasn't fifty hours long, but whatever.

So I'll go with that one.

Get FFIV remake that just came out on the DS. Try IX as well. The older ones look really outdated and may be hard for people new to the series to get into. Its hard even for me to play some of the older ones now. My personal favorite is VI.

Final Fantasy Nine was by far the best Final fantasy.

Story GAmeplay and the set classes that fit the charaters personality. It was perfection

IMO my favorites were 9 and 3 on the snes

10 10-2 and 12 were the worst and killed the series

7 is the most overrated

8 is the most underrated

Definitely FFVIII. It certainly was the most underrated. FFVII was good in its own right, but it was seriously overhyped to a fault.xInfinity

FFVIII was way too easy. It was too easy to get to lvl 100 and once you junctioned everything right for everyone (which took like 30 mins thx to refine) you became Godly not just one character everyone.

worst are either 3, 10 and/or 12

FFX is the only Final Fantasy game I can honestly say I enjoyed start to finish.

FFVII and FFVIII were fun for a bit, but they got too, errr... JRPG for me.

9 and 11 are my favorites.
