Thanks.

Sorry about that,I mistook it as a physics engine. The source engine isnt a physics engine.

Also Infamous has some very cool physics simply becasue you can just blast stuff everywhere with your super-powers, its great fun!

Yeah,I just looked at the back of the HL2 box and there's a Havok engine logo on the back.
I am far from a Halo fanboy, but Halo should be mentioned in there. Halo has phenomenal physics. I'm not saying they are realistic, but the most incredibly random things can happen because of how consistent their physics engine is.Hahadouken
Halo uses Havok.

Ok, then Havok gets my vote because of all the other games I've played that used it and impressed me as well (MotorStorm, Half Life, Oblivion, among others). Still, the way Bungie uses the Havok engine is among the best implementations out there. I should have been more clear, or just read the poll more carefully.[QUOTE="siddhu33"][QUOTE="Hahadouken"]I am far from a Halo fanboy, but Halo should be mentioned in there. [QUOTE="normal_gamer"]Source uses Havok... I already mentioned that this was a mistake in the poll,I thought that Source was used for physics too. What do you think is the best physics engine ever used in a game?
Thanks.

I didn't vote. I'd say Crysis, but it's VERY buggy and very flawed imo. The objects physics are pretty good, but the physics on people is atrocious and Havoks physic engine seems a ton better and I think that's a massive flaw. So I'd sort of be forced to go with Euphoria since it does the human body very well in comparison to any other engine right now. Plus the physics on objects are also pretty good. They may not be as great as Crytek, but they are decent. If GTA4 had destructible environments it would be the Crytek engine very easily imo.
CryEngine 2
Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. It was delivering fully destructible environments back in 2007. No other engine comes close to the capabilities and performance ofCryEngine 2.
Whatever Mercenaries or Just Cause use. I love the purposely unrealistic physics and they provide hours of fun.
Euphoria, just love playing GTA4 because the physics are so awesome, also CE2 has some phenomenal physics also.Im_singleDidn't GTA4 use Havok, and Euphoria is just for ragdolls?
