Whats the hype for Gears 3? *poll*

Let's clarify. I see a lot of people saying AA (which is surprising but not unfathomable if it were to happen) and a lot of people saying AAA. Lets establish the hype now and until release in 2 months. What is the Gears 3hype?

I accidentally voted for AAAA, but it's definitely going to be AAA.

name alone is going to give it aaa status. unless they show me with something other than goar then it should get a - aa.

AAA, But I wouldn't be surprised if it was AAAA

Looks like a definite AAA title, but I coul see it being AAAA with it being theend of thetrilogy. Those kind of games seem to get a little more leeway from reviewers imo.

I'm sure it will score AAA here, but for me, I bet it'll be around a low AA.

I'm actually not that excited for it. I'll probably wait to pick it up once it gets down to around $30 or $20 bucks.

Gears of War 2 scored AAA here even with a flawed multiplayer upon release, GS standards for this series receiving AAA don't seem very demanding so they will probably give Gears3 a free ride based on name alone.

could be great, could be just ok, or even mediocre. Hate not being able to depend on objective reviews anymore, probably won't know the actual quality unless I play it.

GS decided to give a top notch looking (didn't play it yet)game like IN2 a 7.5. How much better can Gears3 be than IN2 that people are so sure it will be AAA? For that matter the same goes for Uncharted 2.

The reviewers here take too much liberty with their opinion and prefrences

I really don't understand this ridiculous site sometimes. The reviewing system really needs to be changed because the reviews are all over the place based on whimsical opinions and prefrences rather than the actual quality of the game and what the game is delivering. Also games that have big flaws should NEVER be AAA based on principle alone no matter how much a reviewer may like the other parts it's just not objective.

I have mentioned the danger of these polls in the past, but GeoW has always been AAA at GS, so I don't see any real danger here, but still, for the record, polls suck, especially for lower tiered less anticipated games. :P

The Gamespot.com track GeoW retail track record is AAA

1. AAA = GeoW
2. AAA = GeoW2

GeoW 3 is the only mega huge retail sales exclusive coming out this year for 360 (There are some other games like Forza, but really, GeoW is what I define as the mega huge retail sales exclusive).

GeoW 3 was delayed an extra year for polish, although GeoW1 and GeoW2 got AAA with just two years instead os GeoW3's 3rd year.

My personal Hype is AAA. So, I voted AAA (I'm sure everyone by now knows my stance on polls, but in a huge mega uber blockbuster with an AAA track record, this one isn't too worrisome as say a new IP game or whatever).

I'm thinking AAA. But I could also see it getting an 8.5 here.

AAA, if gears 2 got AAA there is no way this will score less then that.

And it should be no question that the hype is AAA.

Gears 2 was awful and got AAA. Gears 3 will be good so AAA is a lock.
