What's the last game you bought? What will you get next?

The last game I bought was God of War. Awesome game, and definitely one of the best of 2018. As for my next game, it's definitely Spider-Man. Still waiting to decide if I want to get the collector's or regular edition. What about you, SW? Last game you bought and next one you will get?

The last game that I purchased was Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle for the Switch. I picked it up yesterday. Only played it briefly last night but I really enjoyed what I’ve played so far.

Not sure what my next purchase will be but it might be Monster Hunter Ultimate for the Switch.

Shenmue Collection and Spider-Man will be next!

Dishonored Definitive Edition, just for the dlc, which I never played. Was on sale for cheap. Playing the sequel now. Next up, not sure. Maybe Wolfenstein 2.

Oh crap I did preorder Shenmue, but I'm getting the Japanese limited edition.

About to get Yakuza Kiwami 2, and then the Spiderman PS4 Slim bundle.

Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary. My next game is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I guess I just like that series haha.

Last game I bought was Walking Dead Final Season... next game will probably be Tomb Raider.

Monster Hunter World, and my next game will likely be Spider-Man.

My Spiderman preorder is paid for but as far a released titles the last game I bought was Frost Punk. That game is difficult but man I havent played a game like it before.

Final Fantasy XV. Been on the fence thinking about buying Monster Hunter World but I haven't exactly heard great stories about the PC version of the game. I'll wait til it falls on sale before I consider buying it...

Rakuen. Looks like an interesting little game, and it was on sale.

Can't say i'm too sure about what next up, Resident Evil 2 is a definite buy, only thing on the radar.

I just bought a Switch today with Voez and Xenoblade Chronicles 2! Very exciting. Next? Not sure. Maybe Breath of the Wild.

I'm thinking about subscription services. I have a natural repulsion for subscription services but...

I'm eyeing the EA Origins Premier and MS Game Pass and Twitch Prime Loot and Humble Bundle Monthly services to see if they are worth it. Do you know of any other subscriptions that give you access to games? (Not streaming, please.)

It's tough to say. I'm not done thinking about it. Normally I spend quite a bit of money on buying video games. Like $200 per month. Basically I'll have to see how much a combination of these services would cost me and how much I would have realistically spent on purchasing the games that they happen to offer in a month's period. But it could be lucrative. Because I buy lots of games. And looking at their prices, if 1/4th of the games I normally buy are included in these services going forward... that might end up being cheaper for me.

That's actually the last thing I bought; the EA Origin Premier. It's actually a pretty good deal. I mean I did the year deal for $100. Get to play upcoming games early, get upgraded versions of games, and currently has 138 games at the moment. I've already gotten my moneys worth as I plan on grabbing Battlefield V, Fifa 19, & Anthem right off the bat so I'm saving money by not paying full price for these games. And I've downloaded Burnout Paradise Remastered, Limbo, Inside, Fifa 18, The Sims 4, Crysis 3, Need for Speed Payback, etc. Not a fan of EA but can't pass up a good deal when I see one that benefits me.

I've been on the fence with the Microsoft Game Pass and honestly...I'm not a fan of it. I think it's great for people on Xbox but for PC users not so much; the games are extremely limited because you can only play Xbox Play Anywhere titles. So I'm left with Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and a few others. Which is good for those that want to play those games but not for me. I might just outright buy Forza Horizon 4 instead of trying it out Game Pass because I am hyped for that game. I think the deals they do sometimes for like $2 for 2 months or whatever is great but aside from that; not so much. I've watch a video shortly after E3 when Phil Spencer actually talked about how he knows the Xbox App & Microsoft store needs more attention for gamers as it's not exactly gamer friendly and said it's something they are looking into working and improving in the future. Maybe if they revamp Xbox for the PC I'll consider it; plus I'm meticulous with my stuff so I like to make sure I carry everything over to Steam to just launch from one platform and I can't with Microsoft games...lol.

Humble Bundle is something I've been eyeing as well because it seems like a pretty good deal as well.

Octopath Traveler. Honestly not sure what to buy next on Switch, since there is so much DLC for games I own, ports and new games that I still want to buy...

Battlefield 1 for 6 dollars on the Xbox store... I think it's still like that. Excellent looking game on X1X, maintains 60 FPS most of the time.

Next up: Shadow of the Tomb Raider September 12th!

PUBG was the last one I bought, been quite happy with gamepass since then.... Looking forward to rdr2, fh4, bf5 and ori 2.
