What's the most important franchise that is exclusive to SONY?

Which one, in your opinion, is considered the most important hardcore gaming frachise that is exclusive to SONY?

(most important = most important for hardcore ps3 fans to have SONY not loose that franchise and keep its quality high)

I hope they don't lose Little Big Planet.

But IRL it's probably God of War or GT

Its established, has a following and sells like stink.

But it looks like Uncharted it's on it's way to become just as big of a seller, considering U3 sold 3.Something Million units in, what, a Week? Two Days?

Exactly, since Sony has entered the industry the GT series has dominated in sales for every single system they've released. It is also a universally popular subject as people enjoy automotive racing all over the world. Where as most of the other franchises mentioned are subject to cultural bias and don't sell well in all regions.

sure they have a lot of IPs....but when you start including infamous and killzone in the TOP 5 (LOL), then you are obviously putting quantity ahead of quality, because those series of games suck.

I would say the Sony Cheerleading Squad would be most butthurt over Uncharted. So butthurt they wouldn't play it anymore.

Well, to be fair. If they had known there would be mental health issues, such as delusions of grandeur which are often associated with parnoia and schizophrenia they might have taken better precautions.

Wait? so now lemmings want cows to choose only 1 game in their library of high quality exclusives since they don't have any to choose from.

Sorry it doesn't work like that. Sony having a deep roster of high quality games is what makes sony what it is, and the very reason why it doesn't have to have "most important franchise".

GT since it´s the biggest sony exclusive seller,but even then it´s not even the best of the genre on consoles anymore(for quite a while now that is).

In terms of sales you gotta slap it down to GT.

The one that sells the most.

Uncharted, duh, it has easy, highly linear gameplay, and mostly a playable movie, exactly the kind of dumbed-down shiny crap that console casuals are attracted to.

Out of those GoW and inFamous are the only two that are important to me.
