I don't get this whole console war. What is the point of all this arguing can't we accept that the consoles are both good and have great games. Maybe it's because i havn't been kept up to date with the console war im a pc gamer but recently i got a ps3 from gamestop while i was buying the ps3 i asked the guy behind the counter ro recomend some games and he just starts bashing on the ps3 he said "there are no good ps3 games get a xbox 360" then he says " theres a bridge near by where you can throw your money off you'd get more fun off of that then a ps3 and it's cheaper" What started this console war, what is the goal of the console war, and i am enjoying my ps3 very much was that guy an ahole?
Why are games exclusive?, money, why is DLC delayed for certain consoles?, money, Why do some systems get better 3rd party treatment than others?(like the PC and sports games from EA), money.
anyway your post fails, you're wondering why we must argue about console wars yet you say "between the two consoles" and don't mention the third console.

Well at the store the guy never said get a wii he said just xbox 360, the real meat of the console war is xbox360 vs ps3. I havn't seen much threads saying ps3 vs wii, and when i say console war i include the wii, it think it's you who thinks the wii is not a real console you racist.

Thats not the only reason people root for teams it's also for pride not the same for consoles. And another reason why to root for a hometeam is to get them pumped up and ready to play i mean if you were playing a sport and everyone was booing you i doubt you would do so hot, also when your team wins it's good for the area its in, it helps businesses and attracts tourist. For the Nba Finals people around the world came to cheer on either LA or Orlando this brought tons of tourist and tons of money for san diego. The competition for consoles i don't think it's healthy lots of cussing instead of making valid points and trying to see from the other side. It might be healthy or the people might be joking calling people retards might just be a huge joke i just don't see it.
