What's up with Microsoft buying everyone out man wtf

I sold my 360 since it broke 3 times and bought a PS3. Whenever a game has DLC, PS3 users have to wait like 3 years for it to release wtf, this is annoying, why does PS3 always get the short end of the stick!

what's next? Mircosoft is gonna buy out retail stores so that they only sell 360 games and put up PS3 games a month later? jeez

It's a viable business move to try and improve sales of their version, therefore increasing royalties earned from the copies sold.

In a competition like this, businesses will use these tactics to try and undercut the competition and boost interest.

my question is, is it ms buying stuff out or is it 360 titles and dlc being easier, faster and cheaper and more profitable to produce?

Well, if SONY would wake up and realize they are a multi million dollar company and start throwing cash around like they are one, maybe this will change.

Excellent marketing move by Microsoft... paid Oprah to hand out 360's on television while millions of mothers watch...just before the holiday season.

Exactly. I don't see why people are so sour about Microsoft throwing in more money than Sony. They're trying to make their product number one, just like any company.

I don't ever mind waiting. And actually, imo, DLC comes out WAY too soon anyways.

if there was no competition it would have been worse than it already was.

THis ^^^^ and Sony would probably still be charging $599 for a PS3 because there would have been no real competition for them without MS.
