What's up with the Mods? (Killzone Related)

EDIT: In no way am I dissing anyone or thing, I just want to inspire a fresh topic with debate and discussion on this board :).

I understand that we're supposed to keep hot topics in a single thread (as hard as it is to discuss games with so much info and interest). But when threads like this (regarding Killzone) are locked:

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: First Killzone Hand-On!

Bungie Speaks on Killzone 2

Cliffy B. On Killzone 2

All seemingly positive and good info for the game, right?

Then when a thread like this contiues to thrive:

Badtexturezone 2?

Seemingly negative topic matter for the same game.

I only have one question. Why is this? By the time I actually post this, the latter example may be locked. Or will be. Or may have been overlooked (I don't see how). Comments anyone?

Lol, well, I know it may be locked (even though this thread invokes good discussion and debate). But I just want an answer from the greater powers (mods).

I will do that too. I just want everyone to see this as well :P.

Because theirs a sticky for any stuff about Killzone, and mods want people to use them so the fourms dosent get spammed with the same stuff over and over.Super-Trooper

It can thrive as long as the mods want it to. I don't mind. But if rules are enforeced, we should expect them to be thorough and indiscriminate.
