Whats with all the WIii bashing?

I guess i still do not understand all the hate the wii gets. For one sure its under powered. Sure it has alot of shovelware. It also has alot of gems that are a nice change of pace on what you get on the other systems. The way i love games i was very happy with it as a compliment to the other systems. I am also sure that the cafe will be under powered by the time MS and Sony put new systems out. However i am day one purchase, plenty of fun to be found if it does half as well as the wii. In a odd way its lack of power have made the games feel, more refreshing and less like just another shooter.

I wonder if TC has ever even played an FPS, let alone a 360/ps3 game.. And if he realizes that JRPGs such as Final Fantasy are just as bad, if not, worse.

These die-hard Nintendo ALL 360/PS3 GAMES ARE TEH SAME THEYRE NOT FUN AND THEYRE ALL TEH FPS fanboys kill me.

Wii's a popular Nintendo system, therefore it gets a lot of unreasonable hate.

1- consolization ruining PC

2- PSN is down lolololol

You have to make sure it says exclusive or else you're gonna get a bunch of BUT TEH MULTIPLATS DAT R SOO-PIER-IER thrown at you.

With exclusives, you'll only get the pc360 multiplats thrown at you by people who think that means exclusive to 360 :P

The wii bashing is dead it's is all about project cafe. Nintendo out of their own mouths said the wii is not doing well in the sales deptment. Nintendo is moving to a new system themselves so put the wii in the trash and move on.

i havent seen wii bashing in a while but 3DS on the other hand....

The Wii is the enemy of the PS3/360 fan just as the PS3/360 is the enemy of the PC fan.

Fans despise the system's success and what it represents for gaming.

I love my Wii, had tons of fun with it. It is dead already though since in a few days Nintendo will announce its succesor.

While it does get some stray warning shots across the bow, it really isn't bashed on as heavily as the other machines these days. :P

Yet it has some of the very best exclusives this gen. Definately superior to the 360 exclusive lineup by lightyears. If you are a PC gamer, the Wii is a better choice to own that a 360 IMO.

Yeah... Theyve moved onto the latest thing. They'll get bored of the 3DS as soon as Cafe is shown next month.

So you're telling me that the online system is broken and unplayable? At least it never went down, unlike XBL or PSN. You can send a voice message (just like XBL) unlike PSN. also, if you looked at games like MOH, MH3, Black Ops etc. The online system is almost the same as PSN/XBL

Not true....some games on the wii look really good for a system with half the processing power of 360 and ps3......muramassa and red steel 2 are good examples.But if you look at DK and Mario galaxy they look great for the type of game they are.

Bad games, bad graphic quality, bad online to name a few. When I realized how awful the motion control worked and only played with the classic controller for the most part, it took out all the remaining innovation. I dont see a point anymore but thats just me. There were some games I did genuinelyl enjoy, but those were the only ones. So unless you want to play mario for the 200th time then have fun. Same can be said about consoles though, halo, CoD, and gears are going to be spitting out games yearly. So, Cod 30 is only a couple years away.

Please. The exclusives are laughable. When you get quality games like Halo and Gears come back. Until then, keep enjoying regurgitated games from 20 years ago. Nothing beats flinging my controller around like a moron trying to get Mario's fat a$$ to do anything. Wii is so lame.

It's because unlike the PS3, the Wii does NOT HAVE TEH CELL PROCESSOR!

Bad games, bad graphic quality, bad online to name a few. I own both a wii and a PS3 and the Wii has superior games for the most part.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Punch-Out!!, Donkey Kong Country Returns, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Sin & Punishment Star Successor are all the height of quality gaming design and polish this gen. I consider them all completely deserving of a 9+ score

the PS3 has inFAMOUS, Devil May Cry 4 and Batman Arkham Asylum that I would give a 9 score to. Uncharted 2 is like an 8/10 game

It's all about gaming preferences really. The Wii offers CORE CORE gamer games. As in the focus of the game is quality gameplay. PS3 exclusives generaly focus on the cinematic appeal which robs gamers of gameplay ie: Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, and God of War. That being said, the three games I listed on the HD console are amazing and so is modnation racers and 3D Dot Game Heroes.

Like I said some games are extremely fun to play. I played both red steel games, mario, monster hunter, and resident evil 4 and loved them. The Wii other than a very small supply of games just isnt worth it to me. To ME, but thats just personal preference.

Stop saying "to me", "to me"

We're almost 5 years into the Wii's lifespan, so there is no excuse for "lack of good games".

The Wii already has a LOT of great games and you should do your research. Its one thing for a game not to appeal to you, but that does not mean that it is bad.
