Actually there are alot of cows and sheep in that thread hyped for it as well, it's not a fanboy thing.

But if you don't know then don't even bother to ask.

What's so average about it? Is it the great graphics, smooth framerate, on-the-fly weapon switching, or the deep and challenging combat?

Wait, let me guess: it's not coming out for PS3. That's the reason, right? Yes, of course it is.

...raves about it like its the 7th wonder of the world and yet NG2 looks "just average"

i like dmc4 but ng2 looks clearly better. this guy is just a fanboy.

720p, 60 fps, HDR lighting, selfshadow, great character models, the game still has 2 months till its released which is the time most devs polish the graphics.

My bad, I took you for a blind fanboy when you said HS was better than NG.

The graphics are the only thing I can see that aint nothing amazing but I am going to buy this game after MGS4. Ninja Gaiden is right up there with the amazing combos like devil may cry, I just think ninja gaiden is alot more smoother with his attacks. Hopefully there are some new amazing combos in here just like they did with nero in devil may cry 4. None the less though I know ninja gaiden 2 will not dissappoint and I hope its 10 times harder then black and sigma because the extreme difficulty is another thing that makes me love games like ninja gaiden and devil may cry.clintos59

Yes Ninja Gaiden is a better all around game but u gotta give devil may cry credit and anyone who says devil may cry 4 wasnt an awesome game either couldnt beat it or hasnt played it. I will say ninja gaiden is a better all around game but devil may cry does have things that are better then ninja gaiden. Both great series.
