If most of these deliver it would be my personal favorite year in probably over a decade but....there's more.

Some (really) big stuff that i don't care much about like Switch 2 launch + GTA6 + Yotei + AC Shadows + Borderlands

And we're only in February ...

Got a lot of hype for the following:

- Switch 2

- Monster Hunter Wilds

- Mario Kart 9

- Metroid Prime 4

- new 3D Mario game

- Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

- Ninja Gaiden 4

- Doom: The Dark Ages

- Lies of P Overture

- Ghost of Yotei

- Death Stranding 2

- Capcom Fighting Game Collection 2

- Fatal Fury: City of Wolves

- GTA VI

Probably others I’m forgetting right now but looks like it should be a really good year.

It's only February and I already have more games than I can shake a stick at released this year. That's not even including minor and major updates to early access titles I enjoy, small and independent games, and major updates to games as well.

Hell, I think No Man's Sky just released [yet another] large update.

So, in other words, my hype level is pretty high this year as a PC gamer.

Judas coming out this year?

Hype? I don't really hype things up as they tend to disappoint. I have a few games i'm interested in like South of Midnight, Fable, Avowed, Expedition 33 etc, but I will wait until I see more gameplay before I decide to buy or not, but too old to "hype" things up now.

Eh. Solid bunch of games, but nothing that screams "insta-buy" right now. Avowed is about the closest to that. South of Midnight and Tides of Annihilation also look interesting.

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Lunar 1+2 remaster, Suikoden 1+2 remake and Swtich 2... I have a feeling it is going to be a VERY good year.

As for the topic: Killing Floor 3, Atomfall, Doom, AC Shadows.

Oh man, my hype level for 2025 is through the roof! There are so many games coming out that I can barely contain my excitement.

1. GTA VI
2. The Elder Scrolls VI
3. Fable
4. Marvel’s Wolverine
5. Star Wars Outlaws

Honestly, 2025 feels like it’s going to be one of the best years in gaming for me. I’m already saving up for a new console or PC upgrades

Not at all for me. Xenoblade X definitive edition answers a major cliffhanger that X ended on that I have wanted answers to for 10 years. That is VERY exciting to me. (also X happens to be my favorite game of all time so there is that as well.)

Lunar takes me way back to my high school years when it first came out on Sega CD. Reliving that will be a real joy for me.

Same with Suikoden 1+2. Played them nearly 20 years ago. So many fond memories.

Some people only care about new games, but I LOVE my rich gaming history. Nothing depressing about it at all imo.

There's a handful of games that are on my radar but I don't really froth at the mouth of new releases like I used to. I'll play them when I play them and the backlog will continue to grow at an unhealthy rate.

... probably a few others but, those are must buys.

A fair chunk going on this year. I have a ton of games to get on the backlog and there are a bunch of games from 2025 that I want too.

Switch 2, Possible Valve Quest and Steam controller 2 means it's looking like a good year hardware wise.

When I do get the switch 2, along with some Switch 2 games, I'll also have a bunch of Switch games to get too. I could get them now but I'd prefer to play them on the Switch 2 at this stage (or at least wait for more BC info).

Then there are games like Monster Hunter Worlds, Doom the dark ages, Ghost of Yotei, FF7 Rebirth (PC. I have it but am waiting for patches....and finishing BG3), Avowed.

So plenty to be getting on with and cool stuff on the way. Should be a good year 😁.

Monster Hunter Wilds & Ninja Gaiden 4 alone make this an unforgettable year of gaming for me. I'm eating good!
