Doom.

Soldier of Fortune 2 (not the crappy console version). I played that game and nothing else for three years straight. No other game has accomplished that.

Half Life 2 and Metroid Prime, if it counts as an FPS.

Battlefield 2, loads of fun playing that with friends.

Well he made a thread for beat 'em ups, and now FPS so why not just create one with every sub-genre? Though honestly I doubt many people in this forum have played a game in every sub-genre.

P.S. Yeah, I don't like FPS games.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat.

I have yet to play Clear Sky thoroughly. Those games alone justify my possession of a gaming PC.

Deus ex and Team fortress 2

Heretic (PC) It is the first FPS I ever played.

Metroid Prime (Added some things to the genre which was cool)

Half-Life 2 + Episodes (It also has many mods that are free and some that aren't free)

Team Fortress 2 (My favorite online multiplayer game)

Golden Eye 007 (Spent a lot of time playing this as a kid)

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (Probably spent more time with this game then Golden Eye 007 (Because my sister let somebody borrow Goldeneye and they never returned it. But it was a really fun game I loved playing the Multiplayer with my friends.)

Edit* I forgot Geist (It added some cool things like possessing objects and people and I would like to do that again in an FPS but Geist Controls weren't that good.
