what's your favorite game this gen?

The Orange Box.

More specifically TF2...I've logged about 60hours on it already :o

BioShock/Orange Box tie.

But I got Orange Box for PC... so does that count?

Wii: Metroid Prime 3

360: R6V

If we count PC Games that were released during this console generation,I'd say Rise of Legends. I really liked the story, the units had incredible art design, the gameplay was fun, and the way that the races and resources were arranged and balanced kind of reminded me of StarCraft as I was playing it.

:o You're the second person to say that. Looks like I really need to get my hands on it.

Anyway, Bioshock takes the cake for me.

Bioshock, but it is slowly being overtaken by The Orange Box, specifically Half Life 2. I never played HL2 when it came out, but I think its amazing so far, and I'm only about half way through the game (and the 2nd half is supposedly a lot better). After that is Resistance. The single player was not bad, and it definitely gave me that "welcome to next-gen" moment, but the multiplayer is what hooked me.

I really want to get Dead Rising, but I have an SDtv and I heard the text is impossible to read if you're not playing in High Def, so I imagine that will affect the game somewhat.

Of the 21 posts thus far, 4 have been dead rising. Was it that good?agentfred

Double Yes, I loved that game. It was my favorite for a long time.

I can tell you right now after playing the demo VF 5.

When Street Fighter 4 is released, it is going to be the greatest game ever made, and more then likely that will be my time to go into long hibernation since I will feel that I wont have more enjoyment then SF 4
