Whats your favourite RPG of all time ?

My favourite rpg game of all time is Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines ( PC ) . Blend of first person shooting with hack n slash . Dark and sexual theme set in modern day Los Angeles . Various class selection from vampire breed with each having unique abilities of its own and different style of gameplay . Side Quests a plenty and character customisation with levelling and outfits . Techno and rock music .

VTMB fanbase community mods and patches to enhance gameplay experience .

Really the only thing I didn't like about the game was the ending section. It had such an amazing story and dialogue, and then they just throw a bunch of combat at you and what seems like a rushed ending. I'm not complaining about the ending, it was a nice twist, but I just feel like there could have been more there.

I think just about anyone can guess by looking at my signature. Not one mention of it yet though... Bit of a letdown.

Surprised to see Vampire featuring so heavily here - a few years ago it was hardly even a footnote in these discussions. Maybe it's the recent Vampire mania overflowing into gaming?

Edit: Also, I'm guessing a lot of you are a bit young to really have delved into a somewhat obscure game that was released 12 years ago.

I have trouble getting into most RPG's, yet my favorite game happens to be an RPG:

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Another vote for VtMB here. Basically the most immersive world I've ever encountered in my life... and the only game to solicit pure rage from the deepest parts of my being over the death of a character. It needs a remake or sequel... BAAAAAAAAAAAADLY.foxhound_fox
