It's a game you can use as ownage against other fanboys. It doesn't matter if you don't like it or even play it. It's a tool you can use to rub against your enemy and make fun of their flops by comparing them to it.

Altho Not entirely the same, It seems some people call them "a sleeper" which I think refers to a sleeper hit, which is determined by sales, Most people on the forums, are more concerned with the games they want to reach the hype, or fall under it.

Nothing. If a game's hyped to a 9 plus and it gets a 9.5, it met its hype.

Now, if you're talking a game that was hyped to 8 "max" (usually, the more hype the higher the score prediction) and then hit a 9, then it's a sleeper hit.
