My parents had an NES in the house before I was even born. If you're talking about a console that was all mine then I got my Gameboy color back when I was like ten.

I can't remember the exact year I got my own console, but it was an SNES. Prior to that I played on my brother's NES and Genesis.

Around 1995, I got a NES with only two games. By far, those two games provided me with countless hours of joy. And they were........ Duck Hunt & Super Mario Bros

1982 - Intellivision followed by an Apple IIc followed by a Atari 2600, followed by a NES Action Set (remember they named the boxes) with SMB1/Duck Hunt and the Grey Zapper not the newer pink/orange zapper they later released (that orange gun was lame!) Then Got a 80286 pc followed by a TG-16, Sega Genesis, 80386sx pc 16mhz with 1x 1st gen CD-rom with sound blaster 16. I remember It came with Ulitma Underworld on CD along with Wing Commander 2 fully voiced. Back in 1990/1 that was off the hook!!! It went on and on from there!

You got a NES in 95? The PS1 came out a year later, the snes was already out for 4 years I hope it was a hand-me down and you didn't buy it (unless you mean 1985, then I would say that sounds about right)

96' I think?

Snes Bundled with Zelda ALTTP. I actually had an old SNES that was given to me but it was broken and a 'hand me down'.

Anyway, LOVED that Zelda, I remember getting up at 5am (before going to 6to6 because mom was still in school) to play it 8); good times. Still love zelda today.

They were still manufacturing/selling NES in 95. It's kinda like how people are still buying PS2s now. Some people stay behind the technology, cheaper that way.

My first was some time in the late 80's (honestly can't remember). It was an Atari 2600, but I was a bit too young for it. It was my bros.

First game was boxing:

Well, my family has had a NES pretty much for as long as I can remember, so I used that to play Mario and all that jazz. We also had a 386 PC which I used to play games such as Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom 1 and 2, Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, etc. etc. etc.

The first console I bought myself was a used N64 back in 1999.

i got a gameboy for christmas 1991 tho, so i guess that was my first gaming device that i could keep
