Last Year was 2007.

First of all, the PS2 didn't "Win". Not once was it declared THE SUPREME winner by SW.

Also, supposing that happened and I missed it, It took 2 years AFTER the other companies gave up (Microsoft and Nintendo) for everyone to agree Sony won?

That's rediculous as well.

Even today, you can create a poll asking who won, and posters will click on Dreamcast, Xbox, and Gamecube. That's SW for ya.

Its never gonna end.

Lets say, for example that all the other consoles were bashed besides the PS3. Meanwhile, all former owners of former consoles will still say that such and such console was better than the PS3 will ever be. That will start more and more wars, and after we run out of ideas, there will STILL be more to argue over. Then we'd probably move on to which game is better, which developers are better.

No matter what, there will always be some kind of war here. You can't get everyone to agree on one thing.

I have aquired a weapon of mass destruction that will Fry the chips all existing Wiis and Xbox360. Leaving only the Ps3, PC and Handhelds on the market. Its too late to stop me, nobody was able to find out what we were up to and now it will end, the weapon is already armed and waiting my command to be triggered .

It will end when our current consoles get categorized under the "Legay platforms" forum. Because Gamespot controls the console war. Oooor, it will end when everyone's nuked to death.
