When does this gen end? 2010?

Someone on SW told me Microsoft and Nintendo were upgrading their consoles come 2010. A 4-5 year gen? Come on now, we haven't even gotten any godly "next-gen" games yet, and it's gonna end in 3 years? People still have no reason to get rid of their Ps2s and they are  just gonna end it? and make you dish out 700 more dollars on a xbox720, ps4, and a WiiWii?

If it ends by 2010, it will officialy be the worst gen for gamers.

Each new generation comes every 5-6 years however

it only seems that way cuz MS jumped the gun and released 360 in 2005.  Wii and PS3 have been out only 4 1/2 months 

This gen ends when the next set of consoles are released
