I think the real definition to 4D is undefined. I think 4D as time is just a theory and i remember H.G. Wells stating about 4D in his book "The Time Machine"

well time travel isn't possible...you see...there is a reason light isn't tangeble...it's moving so fast that the air's friction destroys any matter that might have existed in light...same with time machines. and if you do it in space without air than you collide with dark matter and....BOOM... But 4d is time travel and space travel in conjuction with each other.

no you go at the speed of light your going around the world 8 times a second so ya time pretty much stops...

It's not neccisarily impossible. There could be methods such as a giant, very long railgun in space launching a small craft similar to hte LEM from the SaturnV. And I do have a few PopSci magazines proposing a few ways to get going very close, if not beyond the speed of light....Then again, PopSci is all about concepts.

I am the master of diverting threads to my liking.

On your statement about infinite energy being illogical and wrong. Yes I know it is. But the ideas of travelling at the speed of light is grounded in modern science. If you asked scientists about breaking the speed of sound many many years ago, they'd say it's ludicrious. The understanding of the science wasn't there. In the future, time travel and traveling the speed of light may be possible by loop holes in physics that we have yet to come to understand. You just can't bat down the concept so quickly.

I am the master of diverting threads to my liking.

On your statement about infinite mass being illogical and wrong. Yes I know it is. But the sciene of travelling at the speed of light is grounded in modern science. If you asked scientists about breaking the speed of sound many many years ago, they'd say it's ludicrious. The understanding of the science wasn't there. In the future, time travel may be possible by loop holes in physics that we have yet to come to understand. You just can't bat down the concept so quickly.

no, a clock is a measuring tool we use to measure TIME!!

think of it this way: i use a measuring cup to measure water. the water exists. otherwise there's no need for the measuring cup.
