I would like it to be the best looking game to ever hit a consol.

If it ever comes out, it would most likely have to be a prequel. i mean after what happened to snake/raiden/meryl they cant really carry their stories into the next game because they were pretty well wrapped up.

i would either:

-Another game with Big Boss

-A remake of MG 1 / MG 2

-A game as The Boss with the formation of the cobra unit

Actually "Solid" isnt referring to the character Solid Snake. It actually refers to the series being in 3D. Hence why Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 had Solid Snake and they were in 2D. MGS3 didnt have solid snake in it at all. So yeah, it would still be called MGS5

Why? Because MGS4 had the perfect ending and it was supposed to be Koji's last. Anything more will just be milking it.

If there is MGS5, I just hope Kojima keeps it SIMPLE with more GAMING and less movies. He tied up all that crazy convoluted plot very well with MGS4 and there's no need to build up another conundrum of crap. For instance, if it is gonna be a prequel about what that emo kid Raiden went through between MGS2 and MGS4, then it can have a simple plot of his epic peril where we get to use a hell of his ninja skillz.

Knowing Kojima though, if it were going to be a full blown sequel, he'd probably turn it into a CONSPIRACY OF TEH CONSPIRACY OF TEH LA LEH LU LOW LOL.

I hope it stays on the PS3 because not to be selfish, but porting it is going to take alot of quality out of the title unless they take 1 or 2 more years to work on both versions.NYrockinlegend

if this game is a new MGS thta it HAS to be a flashback story like MGS3, Snake plot has come to an end and theres no more mgs with snake gonne it would ruin the series!!!!!

There was rumors about MGS 5 being multiplatform, due to the costs. I mean, MGS 4 has to be Konami's most expensive project yet, as they needed at least a million copies to sell in order to make back all of the money that they spent working on it. Luckily, it did happen, & ever since then, they've been making lots of money after the 1 million mark. Who knows, though?

I hope it has more gameplay moments, MGS4 felt like i barely played it at the end. The game was great nevertheless, i liked how everything made sense, in a very crazy twisted complex way, in the end.

If it does get reveleaed (MGS 5)...we probably wont see it till late 2010 or early 2011. At least thats what I think.

I mean Konami already built the engine for the PS3, It shouldnt take long.

However, I do think it will get ported to the 360 eventually...

If Konami was smart they would port 4 over to the Xbox 360, and use the money from releasing it, on development for MGS 5...Even if they only make several thousand, its better than nothing.

But what the hell do I know, Im not a game developer...just a business major.

I've probably said this a million times. The SOLID in Metal Gear SOLID does not have anything to do with Solid Snake.

If Kojima is going to do MGS 5 I have a request: MAKE THE CUT SCENES SHORTER, I can't get through Sons of Liberty or Snake Eater with out falling asleep.Even though I'm a 360 Fan, I would also sayleave it as a PS3 exclusive, I mean the PS3 deserves to have it's own Flagship Series

johnny? why would anybody ever want to play as him? Stick with who weve already played as (Solid snake, Big Boss, Raiden) or maybe the Boss

also if mgs4 was 50/50 gameplay/cutscene I'd like it to be more like 60/40 atleast. I think it should be inbetween 2 and 4 like almost everyone else.

If this game is still going to be a "movie-game"(that's what I like to call it), then it should incorporate gameplay with cutscenes. For example, in a cutscene, maybe you'd have to actually shoot the guy to progress the cutscene. Then, it would just as much a game as it is a movie.;)NYrockinlegend
