it's my case, but like me, there sure are other gamers who can't afford to get an HD Tv for their own.

in my house I have a 45 inches LED Tv in the living room, which is mostly used by the other components of the family to watch Tv and/or movies.

In my room I got my personal computer and 2 monitors that sometimes I run simultaneously - extending the desktop - so I can play and browse at the same time. I can also hook the xbox 360 on one of the monitors, but sadly I can't do the same with my ps3 ( vga monitors only ) , which I can only use when the TV in the living room is not being used.

in my case, the greatest advantages of consoles ( big screen and couch ) over Pc gaming are invalid and with the amount of multiplat games, my Pc gets the most playtime, while consoles are barely ever turned on ( I also blame it on you, Steam ), if not for their great exclusive games.

I wonder if any of you guys are in a similar situation and despite your love for consoles, Pc prevails due to ceratain conditions, like in my case, lack of a TV I can use when and how I want.

In my current flat it was 13 old SD TV vs fullHD monitor, so it was an easy choice.

But still I chose PC for the games and easiness of getting games.

I live alone, so I don't have that problem. However I still choose PC 90% of the time. :P

Your statement presumes that the key decision is "comfort" instead of the quality of gaming.

Hence, you choose quality of gaming over comfort. Some go the other way (console gamers).

I also mentioned great exclusive titles, that suggests quality of gaming if you ask me.

I started gaming with a C64

My first game for the C64 was the Evil Dead. We're old.

Nope. I have no children, and my wife is perfectly content to read a book instead of using the TV. Mine, all mine.
