When put in perspective, Wii has the WORST GRAPHICS OF ALL TIME

watch past generations

NES and MASTER SYSTEM had decent comparable to each other graphics for their time

SNES and GENESIS were comparable most of the time and decent, NEOGEO was graphic king by going further

PS1 and SATURN were decent for their time and comparable, N64 took graphics crown by going even beyond

DC and PS2 had decent graphics for its time of launch, although GC and XBOX went beyond by a not so wide margin

Now, X360 and PS3 have nice decent "with the times" graphics , only Wii has graphics WAY beyond the standard for 2007

always the standard is set by the bulk of consoles and then there's one which goes beyond and gets graphic crown, this is the first time ever than a system launches with graphics WELL BELOW THE STANDARD, never happened before

so yeah, the wii has the worst graphics of all time in the history of the console wars, nice going nintendo... 

I believe it's all part of Nintendo's "disruption" strategy.

Well, if you look at the calendar, then look at all comparing platforms, yes Wii is after by a long shot.

Much more behind than any console has been to it's generation before.

I find it a little sad, but Wii is still a great console.

Indeed, they are competing, and for a system with lackluster graphics, the Wii is cleaning up.

Why do people buy into this "next-gen" PR crap? Next-gen = next generation, if you had child who was very ugly he's still the next-generation in your family. Yes, I know it's a horrible analogy.

That's your opinion. I think the graphics are fine on the Wii. As I've said before, graphics isn't the only thing that makes a game, a game. The Colecovision had better graphics then other consoles for it's time, but many of the games didn't play all that great. Games like Venture, Donkey Kong Jr & Coleco Football played like crap with Coleco's crappy cheap controllers. The Wii have a great controller that makes gaming fun. I rarely see women wanting to play my game console, but with the Wii, my wife and other female relatives and friend love trying the Wii.

That's your opinion. I think the graphics are fine on the Wii. As I've said before, graphics isn't the only thing that makes a game, a game. The Colecovision had better graphics then other consoles for it's time, but many of the games didn't play all that great. Certainly. I don't see anything wrong with it. Lets get real here: it's not as if the Wii has somehow reverted back to the Nintendo 64 days. It at least looks better than most GameCube games. If I went back from a next-gen system to playing a last-gen system, they are by no means unbearable.

i think i have renewed hate for the wii graphics cause the other day watching some screenshots i thought "hey......its ugly but.....hell....i guess i could get used to....maybe its not so bad..."

then i went to a shop with a wii demo and see this..... and........i just cant.....!!!! :cry:
