They probably won't take anything away. Everything not available now will be added to the subscription package.

They already said they weren't taking anything away. That was pretty easy to look up.

link it if you are so sure. And even if they said it doesnt mean they wont, they will keep gaming free, thats it.
doesn't matter, it will probably be cheaper than XBL and 5 pounds a month is weaksauce, and with the subscription fee's they will be able to imrove the service. probably even to xbox live standards, obviously the lemmings are sharpening there tongues ready for the massive ownage, but apart from that it won't make a difference, all money payed in subscrition fee's will be invested in the playstation brand and exclsuives witch is only a win situation for Ps3 ownersFacebook, twitter, home, demos, and everything new that comes to PSN? probably even to xbox live standards? The answer is no way, in game cross chat still not available? Live will always be evolving and thats why PSN had to start charging, they knew they couldnt keep up.
[QUOTE="Sollet"]You own a PS3? :?FIipModeMost likely not. Anyways Sony already said what we have is staying free, nothing is being taken away.
yes i do, sorry, and flipmode the guy who didnt like GT4 episodes content until it came out on the PS3? I know you dont own a 360, and yes will they be taking cross chat away, oh thats right, thats why they started charging for PSN.

Why are you fighting the evolution of PSN? If they can get the same service that LIVE offers at a reduced price, that's a good thing. Is it going to ruin your day knowing PS3 owners are having a good time on their machine :?

Umm no I didn't like GTA4, I never said anything about the episodes, and I never said I did own a 360 so I don't know why your bringing that up, and hey if you own a PS3, that's fine but you seem to spend all your time bashing it and praising the 360.And another thing, they didnt start charging for PSN :|

xbox live is as good as it is because it is subscription, to say that SONY cannot in the future deliver s a service as good as xbox live is a bold statement, all they need to do is buy more or better servers of there own and hire from a multittude of talented people who are incredibly good at that sort of thing, maybe even ex MS employee's for example, to say that it is impossible for SONY to deliver an equal service to xbox live is a huge stretch, the only thing standing in there way is finance, and subscrition fees would help to cover the costs and put them in a financial position to improve the service[QUOTE="Idream2010"]

Ofcourse it will, because he doesnt own a PS3, everyone knows the only thing he has is a 360, pretty much all of his posts about PS3/PC are negative."idream" I hope thats not referencing to macs... a Lemming/macboy would explain everything *shudders*
The should, its the only way we will get universal improvement in the system.. The entire population needs to pay if we want to see anything coming close to XBL in features, UI, and overall ease of use.. sSubZerOoI dont see how its a valid arguement, cross-game chat, and an easier "invite to game" system is not THAT hard, and probably has nothing to do with budget constraints like M$ will lead you to believe... its more of a case of being low on thier priority list despite what we want... which isnt a good thing either.
Good point. And one little tiny detail people seem to forget is that gaming online with your friends will still be free on PSN.
Xbox Live is a great service but people really overrate it in my opinion. At the very least gaming online should have been a free service from the get go.

Google it yourself. They stated that when the first articles about the proposed pricing structures for PSN were leaked. If you don't want to look it up, I'm not about to do it for you.The already existing features will probably remain free with them introducing new premium features. I don't see how that is so hard to believe.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]The should, its the only way we will get universal improvement in the system.. .. This hasn't stopped the PSN from not changing much for years.. A profit incentive would lead to more resources going to that.. Instead they divert it to useless things like Playstation Home..

You are asking users to not bash LIVE, which is fine.
But you ask this kind of question, when SONY already has stated what is FREE NOW will remain FREE?
You are bashing PSN then? Seems like a double standard. I guess those that choose to Bash LIVE got the go ahead when you made this thread.
I'm not going to do that, I'm just pointing out that you should have researched what we do know about PSN before making a thread about taking away features.
Also, people that own a PS3, aren't COWS. Cows are PS3 fanboys, I own a 360, but I'm not a lemming. I own a PS3 but I'm not a Cow. So I too will be affected by PSN's new features, not just "Cows".

Owning all the consoles doesnt not make you any less of a fanboySony has already stated that everything currently available for free will remain free.
""Especially in the online area, we are studying the possibility of introducing a subscription model, offering premium content and services, in addition to the current free services.""
The subscription service will introduce new components to PSN but everything that is available now, including free online, will remain free.

In other words, you will just hear what you want to hear and call it the truth as long as it supports your theory. The saddest part of this is that you aren't even bothering with trying to find out any actual information which is out there already. Why even bother to start a dialog about this when you have no interest in considering anything else even when people are pointing you towards information? Are you so intellectually lazy that you can't even be bothered to find out what Sony actually said? Of course they can do anything they want and that's pretty goddamn obvious. But what are they actually going to do? Nobody knows, all we have is what they said. For now, that's good enough for me.
This ends the topic, go back to your troll cave TC Sony isn't taking away anything.Sony has already stated that everything currently available for free will remain free.
