In sales, hype, or in other terms, when will activision kill cod

They said mw2 would be the last cod they buy

now when they improved mw2 and made black ops, they said THAT is the last cod they buy

I'm just curious, since everybody says it is gonna go downhill soon like guitar hero, which year?

Will mw3 sell less than black ops?

will cod 9 sell less than mw3?

Its a tough call, but I don't think it will maintain its momentum for another 3 installments unless they incorporate some major changes. I'm guessing (and hoping) it will lose steam going into the next console gen. 2 or 3 years from now we should start to at least see the decline.

it has already gone downhill as far as gameplay and presentation after cod4. as far as sales though, i have no idea when sales will plummet
