When will Next Gen Games have better Voice Acting than Metal Gear Solid in 1998?

Basically ive listened to halo

Ive listened to Killzone

ive listened to mario

basically the voice acting is horrible compared to Metal Gear solid

it has solid snake

psycho mantis

sniper wolf

grey fox

liquid snake

the chief

basically these characters all have better VA than anything ive heard in over 10 years

the sound effects also incredible in the game guns an everything sounds realistic

Voice acting in MGS is very good. But many games this gen also have fantastic Voice Acting. Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space... the list goes on.

Uncharted.

Mass Effect

Overall I like the voice acting in MGS series the best, but I like the ones in Uncharted as well. Other good ones are ME 1&2 DAO, and The Witcher 2, never played the 1st one so no idea about that one. Cant forget the voice acting in R* games :P

Uncharted, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock. Just a few off the top of my head. There are plenty more.

Really? I think his voice acting is absurdly overdone and he sounds constipated.

Valve games have the best voice acting IMO.

What is so good about it? I mean, it's decent, but it doesn't sound particularly natural, David Hayter sounds constipated and doesn't sound at all like a real person would talk, etc.

I think Uncharted murders MGS as far as voice acting is concered. It just sounds so much more natural.

Red Dead has redicolously good voice acting.So does Uncharted,GTA and couple of other games...R* seems to be best at it though...

MGS, Mass Effect, RDR Uncharted and pretty much any R* game are fantastic.

RDR has the best voice acting in a game by far imo followed by Crysis.

But off the top of my head, Alan Wake, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Uncharted all have better voice acting

Edit --> Forgot about RDR and LA Noire. RDR probably has the best voice acting this gen

LMAO no way. ME is not as good as it should be, given its mass (pun intended) amounts of dialog. Uncharted and MGS4 remain the best I have seen, but I recall RDR being very good.
