When will Nintendo release a second good exclusive game for the Switch?

I mean, only having Mario Odyssey as a worthwhile exclusive must be pretty tough, poor sheep.

Mario + Rabbids is great.

Xenoblade 2 was good, Splatoon 2 is good... Even Mario vs Rabids was decent.

What is worthwhile?

Does it bother you that a port is outselling all of Sony's games? or That Sony doesn't have an exclusive that matches BOTW even with the graphics advantage?

Hmmm not really. Current Switch exclusive games I own are:

• Mario Odyssey
• Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
• Mario/Rabbids
• Splatoon 2
• ARMS
• Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (just came out lot to long ago and will be picking it up next month)
• Xenblade Chronicles 2
• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

See, there are more exclusive games then SW give credit for. But however, this is what Nintendo is good for, they make fun exclusive games that sometimes get overlooked here and everyone just focus onto MS Xbox One and while Nintendo Switch sneaks in exclusive games.

Now for upcoming Switch Games:

• Metroid Prime 4
• Pokemon Switch
• Super Smash Bros.
• Luigi's Mansion (rumor at this point)

@davillain- dont forget Project Octopath Traveller and Fire Emblem

They won't count BOTW because its on the Wii U.

In which case the Cows can wave goodbye to counting Persona 5 in anything.

Bayonetta 3 and SMTV too. There are a couple but the first half of this year has been pretty quiet unless you count the admittedly good ports...

Xeno 2 and Zelda (plays way better on Switch) are freaking great. Then you have Rabbids and Splatoon 2... Plus a bunch of multiplats.

Imagine ripping on a system that had one of the best first years in the history of console gaming lol.

When you buy one. They're just waiting on you, brohim!

I don't wait for Nintendo exclusives.

Doom and Disgaea 5 are enough for me right now. Waiting for SMT5 and Dark Souls.

Well they’ve been doing quite well so far and have a number of confirmed titles in the future. I think they’ll do just fine.

There are already a bunch of great exclusives - Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, amd Mario + Rabbids in particular.

As for the next great exclusives, besides whatever surprises they have for E3, I'm really excited for Octopath Traveller, Smash, Fire Emblem, Shin Megami Tensei 5, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, and Pokemon.

@xantufrog: it's sad that Nintendo is not officially on Brazil, we here suffer so much with the price and taxes from Nintendo products whereas M$ and Sony's offerings are really accessible :/

Only been out a year and has Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, Mario Odyssey, Bayonetta 1 & 2, Hyrule Warriors. I am pretty satisfied. I don't need the Switch to be my primary console, only a necessary supplemental system, and for that it is doing nicely.

ARMS is freaking great.

Nah, it's Zelda that's the good one. Odyssey looked totally overrated to me. And now that I played that, the titles look less appealing. I'm too old for Pokemon (like most of the fandom that plays it), and Smash ain't really my thing. People only ever liked that game because of the Nintendo characters. There's really nothing else there that's really for anyone else but the Nintendo hardcore. I guess Metroid could be okay, but I'll have to see how it turns out.

Splatoon fucking 2. Why does everyone here forget about Splatoon 2? It's a big game. Estimated around 5 million sold. Probably the best shooter of 2017.

Mario Odyssey is the only exclusive game there, the rest are WiiU (and X360, in the case of Bayo 1) games.

Mario Tennis Arses is looking really interesting and I'm sure they will have plenty to get excited about at E3.

@rafaelmsoares: The folks listing WiiU games as "exclusives" are full of it but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 exists and is both great and actually exclusive.

I seriously though that the Switch 2 would breathe new life into the Hunting Genre, a better repeat of the hunting boom during the VITA-3DS era but MH flagship jumped ship to home consoles. Well, the Switch is young so maybe in 2-3 years time there'd be a resurgence.

That resurgence might be closer to more "Souls" like games though.

I'd like to see a Nintendo funded souls-esque game or their first party take on it. Maybe even a completely different tone as well.

I'd suggest either a more nuanced approach to trolling or Googling Switch exclusives before making a thread.

They have plenty of exclusives for people who actually like Nintendo games, and more exclusives are on the way. I'm sorry, but if you don't like Nintendo games, then you probably should not have purchased a Nintendo console. Just saying.

And speaking of Persona 5, Atkins has said they are considering PC options in light of how Persona 5 is a big driver behind PS3 emul and Persona 5 ps3 emul does 4k/8k 30/60fps. Sega missed the boat with this one!

I know this is a troll thread and all, but I honestly believe that the Switch will have the most diverse lineup of quality exclusives out of all three consoles by the end of the year. Not bad considering it only launched in March 2017.

@Ant_17: Fair enough we shall see. You could be right with the two years, or I could be completely wrong. I just hope they bring out some more strategy games like Pikmin, Advance Wars or Batallion Wars to go along with Mario + Rabbids, since that's a genre I miss on consoles.

Don't know what you are smoking, but the Switch is a great system with great exclusives Arms, Rabbids, Xeno Blade, just to name a few. Man fanboys are pathetic with their lame ass troll attempts.

More people think those are more than just Vaporware. Nintendo games on good consoles always sell, and they will continue to sell on the Switch and get a huge audience.

I am looking forward to the next mainline Fire Emblem title and new entries for Smash/Mario Kart. Metroid Prime 4 I could take or leave. Don't really care for Pokemon. Everything else is either a remaster/port or an indie title
