After 2 gens the MS controller is still the worst. What do you recommend they do? Shift the D-pad, change the L1 and R2 buttons, add button pressure sensitivity?Adrian_Cloud
its actually the best controller, it has a nice sleek look, various colors, and fits PERFECTLY in the palm of your hand.
If it aint broke, dont fix it.Speedeamon-14
Yet Halo gets criticized for not reinventing the wheel? lawl, hypocracy FTL.

your joking, have you played any of the other consoles ever?

The xbox and the gamecube had the two worst controllers, both in look and control scheme, thats why they changed it. The dualshock is simply the best and doesnt need to be changed

I disagree. To me, the DualShock has horrible ergonomics. It makes my hands cramp almost as much as an old NES pad.

mhm all 3, i own an xbox 360. my little cousin has a wii, and once when i was sick my brother had to take me to work with him (walmart) and i played the ps3 and the demos. the wii is really fun, the 360 one really can get you comfortable, and the ps3 one is nice, (i never said it wasnt) i just think its time fora change. we've seen that same design for over a decade now

I agree, the only problem I see with the controller is the D-pad.

i dont think so. i allways have trouble figuring out where to put my fingers aroudn that huge ugly battery pack they should have just built a battery in it.

You either have HUGE hands, which would mean you shouldn't be able to properly handle that PS3 piece of garbage either. Or you're just complaining over nothing. Which sounds very likely.
You just arrange your middlefinger next to the other 3 fingers you're not using at the bottom of each grip. Ans yeah your nail might touch the batterypack in that position *gasp.
I like the 360 controller better i wish they had kept the boomerang ps3 controller that thing looked tight.....i wonder if they will bring it back....i hope so.

By building the battery in, you basically guarantee that the controller in question will have to be replaced after a few years. (Batteries don't last forever. In fact Lithiums naturally loss their ability to hold a charge just with age)
I can't believe they've stayed with the original design so long, three generations of hand cramps FTL. The banana design looked better imo. Tells something about Sonys originality  Not to talk about the pathetic last minute motion sensing add-on.
But hey, that's just my opinion about this case :)

Yes but the nice thing is the battery can be replaced very easy when it gets to that point. There is instructions on how it's done in the users manual.
