I forgot when the PS2 will stop recieving Madden games. I think they stop at or after Madden 09' for PS2?... I'm not sure exactly but case and point is when Madden isn't available to the PS2 anymore it'll be a tough blow for the system.

It's because of all the games they can pick up for 19.99 and lower, since the PS2 has a huge library it's going to take awhile to die...

To be exact PS2 is dead already for a long time. Everybody who consider himself a gamer bought next gen when it was released. Sony fanboys one year ago, others - two.
When PS2 droped to around 100$ people that mostly not too much in gaming just started buying it as a very cheap entertainment device
