When will the ps3's power be tapped into???

So for the past month or so i have been seriously debating on trading in my 360 and spending 300 extra bucks to get a ps3, but im not sure that the sony 3 is coming even close to what it could be, so im tempted to wait, but would like to do it sooner than later so that my 360 game collection doens't grow any larger...

Dont get me wrong some of those ps3 games look amazing, and i think its unfair to comapre the 360 games to ps3 games because 360games are now in what, their 3rd gen of games? and ps3 is just coming out of their first gen. What concerns me is that i've found so far that the 360's 2nd gen games looked a lil better than what the ps3s 2nd gen are looking like. ( if this is indeed their 2nd gen of sonys games) I just need something to push me to go get that ps3 and trade in this 360.

Not to mention that everyday i have to worry about my 360 failing me and i wont be able to trade it in.

I think it already is being tapped into with the Fall line-up standing out in particular. Some things coming in the fall I believe look better than anything coming to 360 that I've seen thus far and I stand by that assertion.Runningflame570

Thanks guys, some of the posts are really helping. and i am really waiting to see the 360 do a lil better then gears of war. Is alan wake not supposed ot be the game that psushs the 360 to the limit?maybe i read that wrong, but its just a little worrying that if thats true, the 360 is already being maxed out graphical wise. i guess we'll have to wait

I saw a vid on that little big planet game for the ps3 and that made up my mind, hah i thought that was awsome..im debating keeping the 360, but the only game i would keep it for is halo 3, and to be honest the ps3 line up is looking a little better. imo. il decide in the next few days what im gonna do. most likely trading in my 360.

Ive had it for a year nw, and not only am i not happy with the amount of sound it makes, i dont want to worry about it breaking on me or something, and so far ive heard nothing but good things for the ps3

Yeah the ps3 is finally looking great in 2008 and it won't break either I would keep the 360 till jan 2008 for mass effect and halo3 then trade it in for a ps3 cause the line up is insane.
