My favorite genre is Dungeon Crawling (Diablo, Baulders Gate, Untold Legends) When are they making some dungeon crawlers? Microsoft hasn't even announced one yet, let alone acknowleged the genre, Sony's got Untold Legends (I have it) but come on, only a single dungeon crawler game for the ENTIRE next gen?

I got Untold Legends, it's a fun game. But I love mindless hack'n'slash games.
I'm pretty sure there will be another Champions of Norrath game, that series was pretty popular. The online play was some of the best the Playstation 2 had to offer.

Consoles killed dungeon crawlers, thats what happened. I watched as my beloved PC genre branched off into several roads in the last few years. One of them being falsely recognized as a subscription-based MMO (PSO). Another turning them into arde-lie hack & slashers (the marvel whatever games) and the third being a shallow bastard child of its former self. The third is Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. While the game in itself is entertaining, it lacks so much depth & variety, its almost hard for me to power the game back on. Square could have so easily made a dumbed-down version of FF11 with dungeon-crawler mechanics, which could have easily trumped the MMO exp grindfest in every form. I'm still waiting for my 3D Diablo ripoff since Blizzard seems uninterested in creating any more of them. I guess they're too busy swimming in their sea of WoW mullah.
