4d isnt important towards game design
what kind of game needs to have a character that can use a bathroom for months (actual time) just to see that bathroom procedurally get dirty? or a kitchen? or any other room? and if no ones using those rooms for all those months (actual time), how are they supposed to get dirty?
or even rain on the outside of a home? whos going to stand there for months or years (actual time) just to see that rain wear out the sideing?
most people on here probably dont even know what the concept of 4d is
One of the most amusing things Sony said about the PS3 was that it will run "4D graphics". Now, I don't exactly know what they mean with that. I know 4D means time. So that should basically mean games that use time manipulation, right? Majora's Mask on the N64 already did that, so is that what 4D should be about? And if 4D graphics are possible, does that mean 5D graphics are possible too? Sorry, but I'm confused :Dnameless12345This has to be just another stab at Sony's 4D claim. It couldve passed off as something else if Sony said something about 4D in the last few days, but since it has been over 5 years, I think this is just another criticism. Cant we just stop? It has been over 5 years since they said that. Thats just like saying "I thought that parrapa the rappa was going to be an FPS" or something like that.
Yeah and Peter Molyneaux said Fable 3 would have an auction house and that Fable would be one of the greatest games ever.
Well, the 2nd is more outrageous but both show that people can lie sometimes.
