If a game is announced for 360 and PC, isn't that still ownage to the PS3 because they don't get to play it? Or is it assumed that every PS3 owner has a gaming quality PC? How does that work on system wars?

Considering you need windows to play these pc/360 games, guess what windows is from microsoft :D
Lol jk but honeslty i believe that PC/360 games are exclusives. Too bad for cows since they cant play mass effect and other quality titles....

So going by that logic, Dreamcast games are Microsoft exclusive as well because Dreamcast used windows?well since most lems here also have gamming pcs as well then we have no problem;)If a game is announced for 360 and PC, isn't that still ownage to the PS3 because they don't get to play it? Just like logic, really, if a game is on multiple platforms, it's considered "Multi platform" Doesn't matter who does or doesn't get to play it, it's multi-platform regardless, and therefore, can not be listed on an exclusive list. No MS, or console exclusive exists in System Wars.If a game is announced for 360 and PC, isn't that still ownage to the PS3 because they don't get to play it? Who are you to speak for every PS3 owner? I have a PS3 and a gaming PC... Though the PC has seen better days (Somethings quite wrong with it) all it needs is a little TLC and it'll be back up and playing Xbox 360 games in no time :P Games are only exclusive if they aren't multiPLATFORM. PC counts as a platform of its own, in fact, its probably the best platform for a few genres (Shooters, RTS, and even some RPG's/Racing games) If the PC doesn't count, then what is Crysis? does that game simply not exist? How can something be a PC exclusive, but if its on the PC and something else, that game instantly belongs to whatever else it is on? That isn't fair at all. I guess PC games can only be exclusive when the Lemmings say so, right?Considering you need windows to play these pc/360 games, guess what windows is from microsoft :D

Every PC is a "gaming" PC.Bluray001no but the same lems that you see here posting often like yourself have atmited they play games like crisis, witcher, and stalker so one would assume they do, don't spesifically know about you though
Not exclusive; however if they go to the PS3 the became exclusive for a short time allowing for 'ownage', it is a interesting little thing here in system wars.
not exclusive and cows have gaming PC's. all of them have games on pc as well.xscott1018
Im no cow,but i like the PS3. So wheres my PC:(.

Maybe it is because MLB09 the Show for PS3 is not the same game as the PS2 version, which isn't the same game as the PSP version. It just seems silly because there will be 360/PC AAAE's that dont count as exclusives, so PS3 fans will "technically win and have more AAAE's" when really the whole basis of that argument is actually that PS3 + PC is better than 360 since they're saying "well, PS3 has more AAA's assuming you have a gaming PC".death919you don't get it either, I can play me2 elsewhere but I can only play killzone 2 and unch2 and gow3 "exclusively" on the ps3, that's the truth.

Multi-platform titles simply don't count in Exclusive comparison lists, regardless.
either way Microsoft wins. not counting as an exclusive is how it seems to work in here, but in the real world Microsoft just wants to make the most money so they release it on PCtrick91_basicMicrosoft doesn't receive any money off PC Game sales, unless it is a Microsoft Published game. IE. Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Are PS3 owners not allowed to own PCs? By buying a PC, they can play an "xbox 360" game without actually owning an xbox 360, therefore making it not exclusive.
[QUOTE="Ze_ALEX"]Not really, because MLB 09 on PS3 is a vastly different game than the PS2 MLB 09 and PSP MLB 09.same as mlb 09

just like the game would be vastly different if you had an inferior PC / your point

Not if you already have a gaming PC (which more people do than any next-gen console).
In that case, the Wii or the PS3 are by far, the most logical choices in terms of library.

Nobody seeks to ignore these games. They simply try to stress they AREN'T exclusives.

No, because if you had a vastly inferior PC, you wouldn't meet the system requirements. Also, it goes beyond just graphics. If you actually played MLB 09 the show, you would know that PS3 version has modes that the PS2 and PSP version doesn't have. It also uses a different engine with incorporated ball physics and different AI protocols.[QUOTE="jonnyt61"][QUOTE="death919"]It just seems silly because there will be 360/PC AAAE's that dont count as exclusives, so PS3 fans will "technically win and have more AAAE's" when really the whole basis of that argument is actually that PS3 + PC is better than 360 since they're saying "well, PS3 has more AAA's assuming you have a gaming PC".death919It's not silly. The simple fact is, they're on multiple platforms, therefore multi platform. The scenario you created is irrelevant when comparing a consoles exclusives. It's not hard to comprehend. The simple fact is, nobody is limited by one system, so if someone wanted to see the benefit of a system, they'd look at titles they simply can not play anywhere else, first. I really tire of people trying to "reinvent the wheel" in System Wars any time something that would benefit their "side" comes rolling around.
