Okay, it's Monday 15:19 here and the PS3 is still 39990円. Who was the smart arse that claimed it would be under $300?

January 28th? No. Try again on March 28, since that's one month before GTA IV, when it would make more sense to talk about a price cut.

There's a bundle at Best Buy Canada of a 40 GB with Spiderman 3 and 2 Ubisoft games (GRAW2 and R6V) for $399.

Historically most price cuts have happened in late March or early May. Close to April is because of when the fiscal year ends for companies, early May is to gain a boost during the summer slump. Considering GTA4 drops April 29th, if Sony were planning a price cut this year, doing it in late March would be the ideal time.

you will have to buy a $ 1,000 tv and they will sell you a ps3 for 300 i think i was a deal at best buy

buy a 80gb Ps3 for 500$, it's a fair price damn it.
