A LOT of people are lookin foward to this gameo0George0oI hope so. personally I can't decide which is better DMC or Ninja Gaiden but I am deffinitely going to play both.
I think NG2 will be better than DMC4 though
Not really interested in it unless it's dramatically different from the other entries in the series.
I think it's lost a lot of hype since it went multiplat. I wonder how that'll affect sales. DMC is a very hardcore gamer series which relies on hype from hardcore gamers, and that doesn't seem to be happening at the moment.
I read a preview and they said the gameplay was really good but its too linearNot really interested in it unless it's dramatically different from the other entries in the series.

I would finish DMC3 but the graphics make my eyes bleed. I'm on very hard mode
Lemmings only cared about the game enough to own cows. Previous fans are skeptical because they'll probably dumb it down and ruin the game for 360's fanbase. Went from a hyped game to "tchbo" to maybe it'll still be decent who cares.Lazy_Boy88
Why the **** will they dumb down the game for lemmings when they got NG? Lawl at logic.

Difficulty won't change either. Infact it starts out easier and gets even more difficult than DMC3
i saw an interview and the director or creator or whatever was basically saying he noobed it up for new gamers and the 360 fans who didnt get to play the other games, when i heard that i lost all interest, part 3 was great and the difficulty is one of the reasons why it was great. so maybe the new gamers will like it, but not me as a die hard fan of all the previous games, i think i will go play NGS or something instead when it comes outNot really interested in it unless it's dramatically different from the other entries in the series.

you have no idea what you are talking about, they aretwo completely different games in the same genre, maybe if you watched some pro videos of DMC3 youd understand, the speed and timing of the movves these players use is amazing, they are toning it down for part 4 for new gamers to the series[QUOTE="Drukter"][QUOTE="Lazy_Boy88"]Lemmings only cared about the game enough to own cows. Ninja gaiden and DMC play in very different ways. Your past experience in NG does not guarantee that you will be good in DMC. NG is fast button mashing (and fun), DMC is precicely executed combos and air juggling.[QUOTE="Drukter"][QUOTE="Lazy_Boy88"]Lemmings only cared about the game enough to own cows. I've played DMC3, it's not that hard, especially not after playing NG. I know that the pro videos of DMC3 are impressive and very cool. But they wont "dumb" down the game because of 360, he said that way before it was even announced for the platform. The game will only have easier controls and easier learning curve in the beginning, but will soon step up to the difficulty of DMC1 and 3, obviously this is because new players won't get sick of it before they even start, BOTH for new PS3 owners and 360 owners.

Agreed. I also feel it has lost some hype with the multiplat announcement.
Either way, I felt "Devil May Cry 3"(the only one I have played) was essentially a button masher(probably because of my sensitive fingers) with annoyingly chessy dialog and unimpressive graphics--the only thing it had going good for it was the seemingly solid 60 fps, so I wasn't really going to give this installment a chance unless it made some dramatic changes myself as well.
This is system wars. Games are used as a weapon of war. When DMC4 went multiplat, what was there to war about? It'll be fun though.
Seriously, though, DMC4 won't suffer from going multiplat. Sure a chunk of hardcore gamers on the ps3 side wo't play it, but that is made up by the large umbers of people who willplay it on the 360 side. Plus, hardcore gamers are addictd to videogames. The market's fairly inelastic from a hardcore gamer side.

well i havent played ng but dmc combo system isnt like that. it all relies on the triangle button for the sword attacks (unless on sword master). like tri slightpause triangletriangle and u can get different finishsby mashing triangle in some combos.then the special attacks are initiated by holding r1triangle and flicking the stick in a direction so it seems they sound really different.
