Where is the Just Cause 2 HYPE?

I know the game will probably often be repetitive, and the first one was okay. But for whatever reason I am extremely excited for this game.

Maybe it's because it just looks to be fun. Just unabashed fun.

Thoughts?

From all the videos I've seen, with the actual gameplay and footage, it looks stunning! The developers really seem to have pulled this off. From the way he is swinging around and using that grapple, it seems like maybe Bionic Commando developer Grin should've took some notes, or got some pointers from them. The graphics are stunning and the environments look fantastic! I wasn't that big on the first one, although my son loves it to death. It's actually one of his favorite games. I will buy this one at launch for sure. They should also look to license out that Avalanche 2.0 game engine. Its draw distance, texture mapping, and frame rate are top notch. Judging from the gameplay videos.

I'll get when it's cheap, because It just seems like a game I can just pick up and have fun with, and not dedicate a lot of time into.

Solid 8.0 is my guess. I'll prolly just play the demo to screw around and get my fix. If it's really good, I'll rent it lol-RocBoys9489-

I want this game to be good, so for me, AA.

It looks like a garbage sandbox game with some over the top cool things to do.

I'm really excited for this game more than any games come out inMarch (GOWIII, Battlefield BC2 ...)

I'm planning on getting it but I would like to see some reviews prior to its release since I didn't play Just Cause 1

Most here aren't excited about the game. I enjoyed the hell out of the 1st one on PS2 & have been following this game for some time. I preordered it last week.
