Where is this all going?

Anyone thinking about calling it quits pretaining to gaming after this gen is over?

Which should be in about 5-7 years.

599$, Red Rings of Death, Wii's So so graphics, Expensive upgrades to PC's.....

Microtransactions.......... It's only going to get worse for the consumer in the future.

I don't want to be a Cow, Sheep, Lemming or Hermit.

I just wanna play some great games on great game consoles.  

Maybe I'm just typing this because there is nothing I want to play right now on my PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii....... :(

for the wii, you'll just have to wait for the good stuff. it's only been out like 6 months, and it'll take time.

It's been a really Craptastic 6 months for the Wii and PS3 so far. Xbox 360 is not far behind either....

Lol. Like the guy said above. The PS3 has been out for only 6 months just like the Wii. If you don't want to wait then return it and wait until it has some killer apps.

Wow, out of all the games that are out right now you can't find 1 you want to play? I pity you. I for one am happy playing supreme commander and STALKER on my pc and playing crackdown and dead rising on my 360 (dead rising was on special in EB and i hadn't played it before)._in3rtia_

 I agree, how in the hell can you say there aren't any games out worth playing.  There are tons of games out, more than enough to play until the end of summer and start of fall when all the awesome new releases start coming out. Also, I for one will never call it quits when it comes to Gaming, Gamer For Life.
