Where to play Fallout 4?

I just can't decide which platform to get the game for PC or console (PS4). Where you get less glitches and bugs? Also where the controls feel better? I mean do you prefer using your mouse in this game or a controller? I know most will say it's personal preference but still... what's the best platform to enjoy a bethesda RPG in your opinion?

*I don't care about graphics... ( I mean I don't give a **** if PC graphics show 3 more pixels and have a deeper shadow)
so please keep in mind this post ain't a graphics contest.

The bugs will be pretty consistent regardless of platform, though the PC gives you the ability to fix some of them... Or use unofficial bug fixes when people mod them. Bethesda won't do much (or anything) to fix non-game breaking bugs.

Xbone for the superior controller.

Get the PC version if you have to get the game at all, I guess

I own the PS4 version and have 3 days played.. I've noticed MASSIVE framerate drops throughout the world, some indoors.

I mean they are BRUTAL.. drops down to at least 15-20 FPS.. making some fights hard.

XB1 can't fare much better, weaker console

Why would you bother with a Bethesda game if you don't care about mods?

Bethesda games by themselves are broken buggy messes. They leave the games to be fixed by modders.

It's a Bethesda game, the bugs and glitches are probably pretty much the same all around

So I encountered 1 gamebreaking bug on the very first bloody main mission which wouldn't let me complete it (check forums its on all platforms). On the PC I was able to use a console command to get around it.

Also your companions can end up in bloody weird places and being able to use a console command to summon will save you possibly 10's of hrs searching.

PS4 version is pretty damn buggy but still fun. After some reading most of the bugs happen on all 3 though. Wish I had a mouse for aiming at times because I have never been good with a controller but i swear this game has hitbox issues on PS4 when the enemy is close to you. Bad frame rates at time dont help the problem either. PC would be my pick if you got one to play it well.

Do you care about load times? If so than PC is your choice.

If you dont care about mods, dont care about graphics, dont care about frame rate, and dont care about load times... what does it matter what platform you get it on?

If you have a PC that can do the job then PC. Otherwise, probably PS4.

Cant go wrong anywhere with fallout 4... Plenty of content to go around for everyone. Fantastic game.

I can easily tell you, there's more than 3 pixel difference between PC and any other platform. Not to mention load times and mods (that eventually will come).

I'm okay with console performance, just depends on your preference I guess. PC best performance obviously but a sitting forward experience versus a sitting back experience.

Combat is like a shooter right? (I haven't played it yet)

Then obviously PC. You want a mouse for that...

Get it on PC. That's the only way to play open world RPGs from Bathesda and CD Projekt properly, even if you don't care about mods.

Get it on PC. The bugs Bethesda can't (or won't) fix modders will do it for them. You'll get better frame rates and graphics too. Not entirely sure how that can ever be a bad thing. Sure the console versions will be great and will be perfectly playable but if you have a good PC hooked up to a TV (don't play open world games on a monitor ffs) there isn't much to think about.

Get it on Xbone if you want to be the first person on SW to own and play the Xbone version. Being unique>play on the boring PC.

Personally, I find playing in my house to be the best place :p

The PC version is the best by a considerable margin.

I've played it on all 3 systems at this point, and while the glitches are pretty consistent between the three, it performs a LOT better on my PC(assuming you have a powerful enough rig) and when you crank the game up to ultra it really looks sharp.

Since the game can go for hundreds of hours I doubt you would want to play that long on a Playstation controller. I would go PC since that is your other option and use a Xbox controller. Dualshock is only good for exclusives because that is the only controller you can use..

I thought since you gonna play it on PC you'd prefer the mouse/keyboard setup over controllers...

The reason I asked is because my first experience with Fallout 3 was on a console, I thought it was kinda alright. But right now I'm replaying the game on my PC cause you know steam sales + Fallout 4 just got released so I wanted to replay the previous games before I start F4.

So yea... now that I got my hands on the PC version, I really think the game experience (using mouse/keyboard) is much better. So I wanted to know if the same applies to F4 or maybe it has slightly different game mechanics which favor the consoles and controllers. Also keep in mind I'm not the PC fanatic, usually I prefer consoles.

Pc, I happen to have a ps4 so, I've been rented it on that with my back stock of Redbox codes.

If you have a good PC, then get it for PC. Fallout is a glitchy experience everywhere.

I mainly play on my PlayStation 4, so I get all my multiplatform games for the PS4, plus it has the superior console controller.
