It was released 10 days ago and still no review. You'd think a game that won iPhone GOTY would be somewhat important for reviews.

I bought it today, very impressed so far.
This is a hack-n-slash RPG. It's made by the same developer that made Shadow Complex, so they have some experience with making quality games. It can feel a bit scripted at times, but leveling up and earning money and then buying new weapons/shields/armour is so much fun. The developer also has promised to release free DLC (new items, enemies, and multiplayer) so you're definitely getting your moneys worth (only $5.99). It's like a micro version of Diablo/Torchlight, combat is fairly simple but it's addicting and a great way to kill time. Runs really smooth on my iPhone 4 too. Storyline is good enough considering the game, but the controls are very intuitive and fun.

Only complaint is that it destroys battery life (played for about an hour and it took off 1/4 or 1/3 of my battery life).
9.5/10

Sorry to burst your bubble but around here nobody cares about iPhone games, I hope that answers your question to why it hasn't been reviewed.

People will start caring about this, Chair has proven to me that they can develop quality games consistently, their partnership with Epic works miracles for the iPhone.

I guarantee you when the multiplayer is released, people will start caring.

Gamespot doesn't even review iPhone games. They just get them from some other place.

lol iphone games.

But seriously I don't really care about iphone and I'm not going to buy one just to play a 6 dollar game. If I really want that I'll buy a cheap notebook and a phone.

That's wonderful, but personally I would much prefer it if they made this for the 3DS or the PSP2 :P. I would imagine a review will hit sooner than later but I could be wrong.

You'd think they would considering their hard on for Crysis. This game is the handheld graphics king.

Even if it is that title is about as meaningless as the "best game no one played" award.

Comparing Crysis to a Iphone game strange.

Last time I checked, people cared about the launch of the 3DS. The handheld market is growing, outside of SW I believe handhelds are more popular than gaming PCs. It's a very graphically pleasing game, but also features awesome and addicting gameplay.

It's unfortunate so many people disregard any game on the iPhone. There are many decent games that are well worth more than they charge for. It's quite a nice little viable gaming platform and should be given its due respect. Anyone who scoffs at it isn't a gamer or simply hasn't tried out what it has to offer.

You obviously have not seen Infinity Blades visuals, or you would not be saying such things. It uses the Unreal 3 engine and can give many handheld, (not to mention full fledged console) games a run for their money. I don't know if you own an iPhone, my guess would be no, but what you are saying reeks of ignorant assumptions.

EDIT: Here's a pic. Btw, I meant no offense when saying ignorant assumptions, that's just what it sounds like.

I don't know why everyone is blindly hating the iPhone but praising kinect. The iPhone is the future of handheld gaming. Its better than the DS and PSP now because of the recent swarm of quality games. Nova 2 is a good example, a sequal to a high profile FPS and it has massive upgrades such as 10 players online. Because of quality developers like Gameloft and others, the iPhone isn't a joke anymore and there's going to be a controller add-on soon to confirm it as the best handheld for the next few years. Btw, it upgrades like the PC for all you hermits out there.

i never said it doesnt look better then other handheld games...but i dont think many people care about graphics on the handheld side of things (and no i dont own an iphone , but a samsung galaxy S) i just dont see the big deal..its got touch screen controls? which is pretty bad (yes an ignorant statement) but unless there are physical buttons and a physical dpad which doesnt require me to cover half the screen with my thumb...im just not that interested.

Not really around here though, your not going to get a good discussion about iPhone games in this forum, that's what I meant. I know some people care about iPhone games, its just that there isn't many here, thus a thread about Infinity Blade not being reviewed yet has turned into this.

I completely agree with you on that...I'd say the lack of tactile feedback is one of, if not the biggest, drawbacks and impediments that have kept the iPhone from being seen as a serious contender in the handheld market. The only games I'll buy are touch screen controlled, not those using "fake" analogs and buttons. They are almost ALWAYS terribly implemented, executed, and imprecise. Aside from that though, I think the hardware is more than adequate. If they could bring out a snap on D-pad and button accessory it would enormously increase the iPhone's potential.
