I can't imagine Skyrim being good, if Oblivion and Fallout are any indicators out of Bethesda. I don't think, tbh, any game's gonna get a 10, Deus Ex could do it, but it could also get a 5, such a wildcard.
Batman: Arkham City. Five times the size, twice the number of moves for Bats. Prob the most complex action game ever, with an insane combat system. AA was a 9 and RS has raised the bar considerably. Uncharted 3 looks too similar to 2 (not a bad thing for me, but reviewers are sensitive about these things). Skyrim will be 8.5:ed. The only other game I can think of deserving this honour is Dark Souls (only on consoles).
Super Mario 3D (It could it is suppose to reinvent platforming because 3D will help the gameplay)
I'm not hyping it a 10 but it has the best shot at being a 10 because 3D will add a lot to the gameplay in a platformer.

I would have said say PC BF3. But, seeing as PC reviews, on GS, are just copy/pasted from console reviews, and BF3 won't get a 10 on console, I don't think that will happen.

None, here's why: Skyrim - I can't see this being any less buggy than Oblivion or Fallout 3, especially with the new engine. Skyward Sword - Of all, probably the best chance, but the gameplay footage we've seen so far looks unremarkable, to say the least. The Last Guardian - a) delayed into 2012 and b) GS always seem to act harshly on ICO games (they gave SotC an 8.5 for having an unstable framerare) Dark Souls - Near enough exactly the same as Demon's Souls, someone's gonna pick up on that Battlefield 3 - Pretty as it may be, I can easily see the SP campaign suffering from similar problems to BC2's. MW3 - All of the talent which reinvented the series in CoD 4 has left, we're left with a higgledy piggledy of devs not doing what they specialise in Uncharted 3 - Also has a very good chance, but it may go to far with the overly cinematic crap and end up lacking in the story and writing departments Gears of War 3 - Just unlikely. Weak story, but should still score well. Deus Ex Human Revolution - A massive wildcard. Could get a 10, but could just as easily get a 6. Mind you, recent impressions tend to lean towards the former. inFamous 2 - Weak combat, poor AI, poor animations, to name but a few. Arkham City - Can AA's formula work in an open world? We'll have to see Resistance 3 - Resistance games have never been AAAA material, this one looks no different RAGE - Also a bit of a wildcard, we have to see if it does actually innovate like the rest of Id's games, or if it's just a Borderlands/Fallout clone with better shooting mechanics. Mass Effect 3 - Delayed in to 2012. Might have a chance of getting a 10 though, when it does come out.
I also feel that there is some little thing wrong with every game coming up, some little thing that would keep them from a 10. From what I see I agree that Skyward Sword has the best chance for a 10. Nintendo said that those scenes we've seen were from an introductory area that has more of a corridor feel than the rest of the game, and they've also said that they want to mix up the zelda formula which is music to my ears. I also really like the premise of the game and the combat is intriguing. If the combat is not perfectly responsive and feels tacked on like in TP it could be a negative to the score, but if it is done right it could be a huge plus since it would be fulfilling the wii's promise for the first time since the system released. Finally this is nintendo we are talking about, and the game is taking this long to make for a reason: they will not put out an inferior product and miyamoto is infamous for scraping months and even years of work to start over and do it right.
The only game I think could come close is Batman: Arkham City. The original was an exceptionally well made game, and for a second attempt, they could do everything right.
Hmmm.....I am wondering why are consoles so good besides no game choops on them.Even with 3D and higher graphic the version of Fable 3 for pc scored 7 and for consoles 7.5 i don't understand why.

You might just be right. If they manage pull off everything they stated in Arkham City, then I can see it getting very close to 10. Would love to see what these PC extras their going on about though! As for Dark Souls, I'm not too sure. Got a funny feeling about that one, not sure if it will be a big improvement over Demon's Souls.

Different standards tbh. All games are reviewed and compared to whats on their respective platform. Fable 3 on PC is the better version but if you look at various reviews, it says things like "Compared to other PC RPG's Fable 3 is too simplistic". Also it did launch the same day as Witcher 2, which raised the bar for PC (hopefully consoles soon too) RPG's even further.
skyrim. even though im excited for so many games, i dont expect them to score that high at all because i tend to disagree with gamespot tremendously. its fine, though.
