Thanks to the extra 5 months of polish Epic is giving to Fenix's last stand, after the beta there have been virtually zero complaints/negatives from gamers who have played G3. Graphics King in some gamers eyes.

Gears of war 3. Its going to be the best game ever. The graphics looks the best too. The graphics are a giant improvement from gears of war 2.

Anyway, UC3 and Zelda are the only 2 able to get AAAE from the poll.

Zelda looks great and will bring the series beloved hero back in action, and UC3 looks as good as 2, which is also great.

Why? Because Gears 3 is an Xbox game? The first 2 did successfully get AAAE scores (Gears 1 was exclusive at teh time it was reviewed)

Honstly, all 3 games have equally good shots, and in all likelyhood, all 3 WILL be AAAE.

I'd say Zelda is the only one in that list that has a very clear chance.

I know GeoW3 will be great, but not bring anything new to the table to establish it as AAAE. The campaign looks lackluster to me, and this is coming from the guy who loved the first's campaign. But that's just my opinion, I know many people will love this game to death.

i didn't vote, the reason why is because this isn't a vote to judge which is potentially best, its a vote which people who prefer ps3 will vote uncharted, people who prefer xbox will vote GeoW and people who prefer wii will vote zelda.

but personally, owning a ps3 i think gears will due to the previous being fantastic, uncharted a close 2nd

I've seen enough of the E3 footage of Skyward Sword (wii-motion mechanics and gameplay tools like the scarab), so no need to ask about that. But applying your argument, what does UC3 bring to the table the previous 2 installments didn't? And as far as Gears 3 campaign goes, we only saw the briefest of coverage there. Most of the focus was on the MP. But being the conclusion to the trilogy, you really don't think Epic wil bring... well an epic scale (no pun intended) to the conflict between humans and locust in this finale?

My main point being in my first post, that all 3 games come from a solid pedigree of proven series which have earned their lions share of accolades. Even where Twilight Princess got 8.8 still the Zelda series is proven in its overall lineage. Why wouldn't all 3 games here get AAAE?

The " E " bit just means that the game is exclusive. So if it scores AAA, it will in turn be AAAE unless Epic does a 180 and releases it on PS3 for whatever reason.

I think all of the above will achieve AAAE at the very least, the question is which, if any, will get AAAAE.

I love Zelda and I hope its a great game--will probably end up playing it on WiiU(hope there is an HD version), but tbh, Uncharted 3 just looks absolutely amazing. Nothing touches that games production values. Some of the things going on with the water were just incredible.

Zelda. At least they're trying to change that franchise up every release. Uncharted will be awesome, but it'll look and play like Uncharted. And Gears 3 looks like a god damn Gears game. Will never understand why people like them.

GeoW and Uncharted would have near equal chances of getting AAA IMO. Reviewers could lower the score due to being "the same" as the previous iteration or could score it high forimproving upon the gameplay.

While Zelda would bemoreunpredictable asthe gameplaycould hit or miss.

All of those look like basic good ol AAA on lock.

Out of the 3 i prefer Uncharted 3 tbh.

Wouldn't surprise me if all 3 get AAAE.

I am going to have to say:

Skyward Sword > Uncharted 3 > Gears 3

In terms of chances for GS to give it a 10. That said, it appears that they are all improving upon the series a lot. I just dont feel like they will give Uncharted a 10 (although it may deserve it), and Skyward Sword may gain more unexpected attention and hype come release. The game is going to be phenemonal, and I am betting much better than Twilight Princess, which is already an awesome games.

PS - I thought the thread said AAAAE (as in 10) not AAAE (as in 9.0 - 9.5). I think all of them will get AAAE status.

Since 2007 it will be the 3rd Uncharted; since 2006 it will be the 3rd Gears game.

I don't think when past games released has anything to do with it. If a game is good it will get the score it deserved.

For example: Forza Motorsport 1 released in 2005 and the third Forza game released in 2009. That's a 4 year difference like Uncharted and Gears is a 5 year difference. Now from what I understand it seems that you think that Uncharted's and Gears's third installment won't be AAAE because they have had more recent past games. However that won't be the case just like it wasn't for Forza 1 to Forza 3.

Forza 1 recieved a 9.2, Forza 2 also recieved a 9.2 and Forza 3 recieved a 9.5. Forza 3 was an improvement over the first 2, was released in the same time frame as Uncharted and Gears, and was still an AAAE game. Another example: See the Call of Duty franchise.

Now going by you saying not having a Zelda in 5 years is going to make the game exceptional. Well longer waiting doesnt always equal a for sure AAA game and this is seen in Duke Nukem Forever.

What I'm saying is the release times have no influence on the actual score the games itself. If the game warrents an AAA then it will recieve it.

I have a feeling that all of those will be AAAE. Actually I'm gonna reverse your question and say which one has the best chance of not being AAAE: Skyward Sword.

I think all three of them will be AAAE but the one I'm bound to enjoy the most will be Skyward Sword.
