Probably either the CD-I, Supergrafx (not the same as TG-16,) or the FM-Towns Marty.
The 3DO made Trip Hawkins a ton of money, could of swore the Jaguar won $$$ from a lawsuit with Sega, which was promply lost launching the toiletbowl shaped (and performing) Jaguar-CD system.
The only think that flopped about dreamcast is that it was discontinued. :(
Exactly, the other consoles were things I didn't ever consider to even purchase when they were released. A Sega system for me was a definitive purchase b/c of the previous consoles. Seeing it die early was sad, but also what i would consider one of the biggest flops.

The only thing CD-I was known for were the Zelda games that were thought to be some of the worst of all time because it had nothing else. I haven't heard of the other two systems.

I'd say the Saturn flopped harder than the Dreamcast did. The Dreamcast, as a console, was doing well, it was Sega's own decision to discontinue it because they didn't have the money to fund the console.

I wouldn't call the 3DO a flop because it wasen't really a mass market item. They made a limited supply of them and sold everything they made for a profit.

It was even funnier..Trip Hawkins (of EA fame) made a killer deal with Panasonic to build 3DOs. Basically Trip made $$$ off of game royalties, while Panasonic could only make $$ off hardware sales. Trip got rich, but the console stayed at too high a price (since Panasonic got nothing from game sales to offset pricing) for too long, dooming it.

Yes, I'll agree that the Saturn was faltering a great deal, but the Saturn doesn't mark the end of Sega's console making days, the Dreamcast does.
The Virtual Boy or CDI were flops for sure. Then the Jaguar and 32X are next. (Even though I loved the 32X) There is no way the Dreamcast was a flop. You guys are just haters.

I had the 3DO and in a big fight with my brother I took the system and smashed it into the ground into a million pieces. Road Rash was a great game for the 3DO. I love Tripp Hawkings.
