Which console has the best hidden gems?

*OBLIGATORY PC NOT INCLUDED NOTICE* For the sake of not having a boringly one-sided poll, PC isn't included, it has too many indie/niche games to make the poll interesting. Sorry hermits, take it as a compliment :P

We all know the Halos, the Uncharteds, and the Marios. We wage war over their supremacy every day here. But how often do we hear of the Kameos, Folklores, and Little Kings Storys? Well today is a battle of the gems! Which console do you feel has the best hidden gems? Give examples as to why you think your console of choice wins!

Personally, I have to go with the Wii. Low development costs on the console lead to a lot of lesser known unique 7.5-8.5 titles that really make great additions to a gaming library and break up the monotony of the popular genres and games. Stuff like Little Kings Story, Dawn of Discovery, Red Steel 2, Zack & Wiki, among others are really high quality titles, yet fly under the radar constantly/

Demons Souls won GoTY here and is always talked about on these forums. Dark Souls only exists because Demons Souls owned so hard. Not sure if serious.

The DS, of course. The game I reviewed in my sig, Theresia, had a ludicrously low number of sales, but it is a gem.

I think if I had to rate each console by its amount of "hidden gems" I think it'd go

Wii = DS > PSP > 360 > PS3

This gen its the Wii easily. All kinds of great titles that nobody ever talks about.

If we counted all platforms I'd have to say PC.

Not really sure how PS3 is racking up votes. Its my favorite of the current consoles, but it only has a few "hidden gems" to speak of.

If it's a hidden gem then you're hardly likely to see it, Nier is a hidden gem, buried by 6 feet of bad reviews yet is one of the greatest titles on any system.

Demon's Souls was in fact a hidden gem but was brought to light and the potential was swiftly exploited by the publishers and it became a huge hit, it may not be hidden now but it was at the time it was first released.

I completely took apart my 360, Wii, AND ps3 and DID NOT find a SINGLE gem hidden in ANY of them. Thanks a lot TC.

I went with the PS3 because of 3D Dot Game Heroes and Valkyria Chronicles. More fun with those than any of the more unknown titles I've played for either the 360 or the Wii.

A lot of DS games are flawed too, but despite that I was kinda reconsidering my stance regardless becuase the DS just has more games than every other console.

My personal hidden gems were Deathsmiles, Shadows of the Damned, and Tatsunoko VS Capcom. I guess I will vote 360 to balance it out on the poll.

I don't know, almost all system probably have their fair share of hidden gems.

360: Culdcept Saga, Table Tennis, Viva Pinata, Top Spin, Condemned CO, Crackdown, Scene it? LCA & BoS, Prey, Earth Defense Force 2017, Project Gothem Racing 4, etc
