PC
PC. Why the hell would I use my console for media-related functions?
Is PC a console?
Pretty much. Does all the things my consoles do, except portable gaming and home theater gaming.

I don't think that's how these things work.
PS4 Pro, Best PS+ free games, Best online never went down once since I've been using it, great party chat.
Dual Shock 4 has the best sticks and the best bumpers and the best triggers and the best DPAD by FAR away the best controller this gen.
PS4 Pro has really good menu and is great for media player unlike the xbox one and the switch which are dumpster fires
For this one I'll vote for PC here.
Clearly PC has the best options for all the points brought up in this thread.
This is a dumb thread because consoles are only good for their exclusives (which ironically isn't asked about) and PS4 has the best selection to choose from closely followed by Switch.
PC isn't a console, and the TC clearly stated "console" in the title. What we have here are a bunch of haters here who's afraid of what the "common" answer may be. So now we have a thread derailing issue. If you didn't have a console in mind, why post in the thread?
PS3. Online was free for most of the generation and worked fine. L2 and R2 sucked, but L1 and R1 we're tight and earned me many a kill. It had graphics. As far as multimedia, it supported Blu-ray, DVD and CDs, as well as a host of file types. Streaming content from a PC was a cake walk, and having multiple music visualizers was great. But my favorite part of the ps3 was the thumbnails for each game, and their accompanying jingles. Best console I've ever owned.
Poll: Which console has the best Online Services, Controller, Graphics and Media related functions?
Best online is XBL by a nose.
Best controller sans dpad(and what games use the dpad anymore?)Xbox One Controller by a mile for me.
Best Graphics--Xbox 1 X, and it ranges from slightly better than the PRO to vastly better(See RDR2).
Best Media Functions--I haven't used a PS4 for media playback, nor the X1X much anymore as my TV has 90% of the apps I use already. The X1x fast switching is nice for when I use them on the system.

Lol, no. Just no.
Anyway, if we're just talking about controller, online, graphics and media specifically, then X wins easily.
Xbox wins. Its the best console for everything but games. The controller is the most comfortable and sync's easiest with the PC.
Switch only has youtube that's it.
PS4 media player cant play many media files and struggles to stream 1080p over 5ghz. Sometimes to find online games I'll have to restart the PS4.

Bro the sticks on the dual shock 4 are so comfortable playing rocket league with it now its so much easier to score goals with the ps4 controller when i play with the xb1 controller i lose constantly it sucks so much
This poll is unbelievable people must be outa their minds to let ps4 lose to xb1

So besides the controller what else you got? The PS4 controller is fine and there's nothing wrong with it, that's a matter of opinion but everything else besides exclusive games the xbox wins.

You are right; the PC is far and away the best in graphics.
I think it's pretty even, and oddly they are different enough doing the same thing, its just about what style you want.
Graphics - The Pro's performance is generally above 1440 which is plenty good, I didn't even skip to 4K on PC, it was 1080 to 1440 and it was plenty good performance. Obviously the X did a huge jump, but its also $500. So if we're gonna talk price to performance ratio, both Pro and X are fairly high. Like 2070 is a better card than 2060, but it isn't a better buy, I think a case could be made for Pro being a better buy. Fact is, X's graphics won't get use to play a handful of the best games of the generation like HZD and God of War.
Controller - I think Xbox controller generally have cooler Special Editions and just prefer my PS4 controllers plain. If comparing original controller the Xbox One's is pretty lame but the One S just works on PC, I just needed to buy like 10 rechargeable batteries, while a PS4 Pro stand with controller dock is all I needed. The PS4 controller works on my PS3, and on PC with PS Now. I like both designs but prefer Dual Shock for 3rd person games since thats what Sony mostly makes.
Online Services - People always say Xbox, but likely more to Sony's lax security, but who wants to keep cards on their consoles anyways. When I had PS+ I never noticed any difference when playing online, in fact I've found online more enjoyable cause of the bigger userbase, at least it was nicer than using PC. PS+ always gave better games and I consistently found PS+ cards for cheap.
Media Functions - I think they are pretty even. I would likely buy a movie off the Xbox over a PS4. If I was to watch a movie, I don't own any 4K Blurays yet so either or. I'm mixed on this choice, cause PS3 I felt the media was landslide better than 360, but this gen they each have their merits.
Best online service? Probably Xbox. Kinda hate their online though.
Best controller? Switch with its' Pro controller. Then Xbox. PS4 controller is crap.
Best graphics? As a PC gamer, I really don't care. It would be sad if it weren't Xbox, since it has better hardware than PS4.
Best media related functions? Again, as a PC gamer, I really don't give a shit. My guess is Xbox though.
Considering the answer to each of these questions individually is a different console, and most can be more easily and correctly answered with "PC", I'll just go with "PC" even though it technically isn't a console.
In today's gaming world, if you can afford PC gaming, there is really no reason to own any of the consoles aside from the handful of exclusives they might get.
Console? Good online service?
That's not a thing.....
Technically, if we have to pay for it, we're getting screwed on the deal by default.
We just need to make sure the PS4 is at the bottom of the rankings. That controller mixed with that shit show of an online service... Yikes
Objectively its the Xbox One X.
Every other answer is incorrect.
PC's don't even come with UHD players. Got to buy those separately on PC. Not to mention PC's are not consoles.
This argument is incredibly stupid, and flawed.. Why would a PC "come" with an UHD player when you build it yourself? A PC can come with anything you want it to, cause you actually get to pick what it has and doesn't have. lol

LOL
The vast majority of people walk into stores and buy their computers or order on line.
Not sure why you think people all build their computers.

Can you tell me in what way UHD drives benefit gaming? I don't know why I would even want a UHD drive in the PS5. Any data limit issues with 50 GB Blu-rays are just the developers being lazy and not wanting to compress anything. And since games need to be installed to the console anyway, no one should have any issue with two disc cases. I have a UHD player. I don't need a multimedia console. The movies are just harder to navigate with a controller. Mapping the rewind and forward buttons to the triggers is just stupid, as it insures those buttons will be pressed unintentionally when the controller is put down.
voted for Labo. because it was there.
For best controller, that would be subjective. For FPS games, I prefer the X-1 controller, but I prefer the DS4/Pro Controller for other games.
Best Online, I have no problem with PSN same with Live. Though Nintendo falls behind on this depending on games.
Graphics, they all look good
Media, don't care about that, don't use my console for media stuffs

lol, I like how you say the "vast majority of people" instead of gamers in order to prop up your argument.. the majority of PC gamers build their computers, so the point you were trying to make is irrelevant.
This gen? Xbox One -> PS4 -> Switch (though for controllers the pro is maybe the most comfortable). Of course PC wins overall as usual.
Historically however, I would say that:
