Which Console Has The Most Aesthetically Pleasing Boxart? (STRONG 56k)

Which console has the better looking box art? We are judging off of both the PS3 and 360's NEW boxarts, not the old ones. We all know the old PS3 boxes were ugly as sin, personally I think the new PS3 boxes destroy the competition.

To be fair to 360, there isnt that many titles out that sport the new design, however I still like it. At first I hated it (I also hated the PS3 box redesign at first) but they both eventually grew on me and game boxes started comming out that made it work.

Personally, i like the PS3's clear casing better then 360's green casing if I had to choose, but its hard to say because they BOTH look good, and they BOTH sort of compliment eachother in your collection. I wouldnt reall say one is BETTER than the other, just different. But I would pick the PS3 ones if a choice had to be made.

This. Mostly due to the fact that I can see myself admiring the discs for minutes straight. They're so creative and unique, and always go farther than just having "insert game title here.". It's the little things that make me happy XP

The PS3 cases/boxart look a lot better imo. I do really like Gears 2's boxart though, still isn't as good as U2's boxart.

You also forgot a certain console.

Platinum game boxes are ugly as ****.

But with regular titles, I prefer the design aesthetic of the post Slim PS3 boxart.

PS3's new boxart borders are just b-e-a-utiful. 360's boxart is ugly, plus, it takes away from the actual image. Wii's stuff is just a flimsy white DVD case. I HATE HATE HATE it...

so, PS3.

Unless we're counting Pc, in which case PC wins, barely.

ps3. That is if we're just talking about the top part. Wii games usually have amazing box - art.

I always liked the 360 cases and boxart.

Since we're posting PC ones: :D

PS3 but it's close.

For me it goes:

1.) PS3 - Love the clear case (artwork on the inside of the cover is nice). Plus it's more compact, which makes sense to me; bigger cases take up unnecessary space, but it's not a big deal at all.

2.) PC - Minimalist and easy to comprehend. More room for the art! Some boxes can be unfolded to show more art :P.

3.) Wii - The white looks pleasing and the title bar is clean.

4.) 360- Not a fan of lime green, especially not all over the place :(. I do like the new "swoosh" symbol atop the cover though :). They also feel pretty flimsy.

Love this thread. And I SO want a PS3. But I do love the 360.

who cares about box art, i dont care whats on the box as long as the games good.

The Wii has some pretty awesome Box Arts.

Ok im getting confused we are just talking about the box itself right? Since some people are talking about actual boxart which is different. I just want my confusing to be cleared.

One of the main reasons I bought the LE was the boxart. The normal boxart was boring.

Ps3's cases are more futuristic and slick looking imo
