Which console the best startup tune? :P

There have been loads of 360 Vs PS3 graphics threads lately so I thought we should start a new debate, which console has the best startup tune?

I like the ps3's one but my favourite is the 360's as it sounds more modern.

I like the Wii's the most.

Gamecube was the best. Not the startup, the menu theme.

It didn't have a boot sequence, but I love the "SEEGGAAA" before most games.

I like the Wii's menu themes, like when you play a game and you get the little custom thing for each game, it's fun to buy a new game and see what you get at that screen.

I like the Gamecube one the best though.

I'm going to have to agree with the guy that said Genesis, although it didn't have a start-up theme when you were playing games like Sonic and that "SEGAAAAAAAAAA" was uttered. Pure gaming bliss:)

I also liked Gamecube's too. I used to turn the console on and off just to hear it and watch the animation:)

the PS1 and the sega saturn are still the best

personally i like the PS3's start up better then the 360's

if im not mistaken the sega master system was the first console with a start up screen

The PS1 freaked me out. But I like the PS2, for noglostic reasons :)

The 360 this gen. That vid brought back meories.

Best theme ever for me would either go to the X-box, PS2, PS1 or DS.

I like 360's the most.

PS1's was terrible. It just made me remember how much I hated it..

360 > Wii > PS3 in terms of sounds.

I prefer the graphical flair of the PS3 startup the best though.

imho the PS3s startup sequence with the orchestra tuning itslef sound...its a little snobby, for lack of a better term, imho.

the wii doesent really have a start up sequence (unless u want to count the health and safety message) but its menu screen tune goes through my head. worst of the lot imho. i do like some of the tunes for games though like no more heros and lost winds.

of all time....probably the PS1. such a cool startup tune imho.

Yup, Sega wins. if were just sticking to current gen systems than I would have to go with the 360.

Now if only MS would release a update for 360 to where it does the Sega startup whenever I turn my system on, that would be heaven.

Anyways, I liked the Xbox 360s the most. I never really liked any Playstation intro
