Which console; present or future, do you think will eventually de-throne the "king of all consoles"- THE PLAYSTATION 2?

Because currently, it is showing the world it's might and longevity hands down.

We all know that it's last-gen, but damn, look at it go, 'this gen'.

I highly doubt it.

The wii has the sales, but won't have nearly as many great games as the ps2 did because of the terrible 3rd party support.

The 360 and ps3 will never get the sales of the ps2.

This is pretty much how I see it, the Wii might catch up in sales but not even get close to it's library.

Anyway the most likely console at this current time is Wii but the PS3 and 360 still have strong sales so no ones ruled out yet, personally its far to early to tell whos most likely to come close.

i dont even think it will catch it in sales. the ps2 had something important (at the time) that the Wii doesnt have: DVD playback

No, maybe Wii60/PSWii combined could equal PS2 for sales and games, but I doubt any single console will be as good.
