Which developers are the most annoying at the moment,,,

For any reason what so ever. Crytek for instance for talking rubbish constantly about how great Crysis 2 looks in comparison to Killzone 2 and real lifeand how there plot in Crysis is soo much superior to Halo's. Ensemble for whinging about how there lousy looking Halo MMO got canned because it was Nintendos fault. just randomly complain about anything to do with developers at all.

I was going to say Crytek as well. I find it annoying when developers compare their games to others to build hype. Crysis 2 is going to be released a year and a half after Killzone 2 was released. It should look as good or better than Killzone 2 given Crytek's previous games

Crytek can talk, but until they release their game their comments will either demonstrate their words, or completely backfire.

Meanwhile, we are waiting for Crysis 2 and Killzone 3, lol.

I wish developers just remain quiet and release their teasers and trailers. They want to be loudmouthed about it? Release a game demo so I can see for myself. If the game turns out as good as they say it is, then I don't mind eating crow.

DICE because they are frustrated about MW2. The game MW2 had barely any effort put into it and sold like hotcakes, and BFBC2 had 100x for effort and polish into it and didn't sell near the 11 mil. I dislike IW.

But this isn't a programmer or director from Crytek. He is the writer responsible for the story material and lets face it, the story to Crysis doesn't exactly give Virgil's Aeneid a run for its money.

Lionhead Studios for me...they keep on saying how they have 'the greatest cast ever' and basically hyped every Fable Game release as an AAA game release...but in reality, whilst both Fable 1 and 2 were great games they were never ever that good....

I would be fine if he just used some tact, but I'll give the guy a break, he probably is not used to being interviewed about games like this and probably is just talking frankly, which is ok in a blog or a personal article, but in an interview he should use some more tactful terms/comparisons. And to answer your question, yes I would be happy if he answered it the exact same way without mentioning a specific game because it completely changes how people interpret what you are saying. A writer should be aware of this, unless he is purposely antagonizing people, and it that case....well, he succeeded.

um Crytek never said their plot was better. The NEW WRITER WHO DID NOT WORK ON CRYSIS 1 admitted Crysis was also poor in the plot department. He just also threw other games under the bus that quite frankly. He had ever right to because his words were actually *gasp* True. I mean a dude that has 5 best seller novels, and some awards for his ego. I'd say he's more than qualified to talk narrative.

2- I hate politically correct developers if anything. Speak your goddamn mind. I honestly want to hear what games these people didn't enjoy or think are bad.

3- The only thing Crytek has said that honestly made me facepalm. Was "Console gamers don't appreciate' blah blah I stopped caring because he can shut it. I don't appreciate crap. Make a good game and I'll praise you. Make a piece of crap, and I'll call that developer a piece of crap. That is how this works. Very black and white. When you make something good, you're awesome. When you make something bad, you suck.

4- Ubisoft. STOP MAKING COOL CONCEPTS THAT YOU EXECUTE POORLY! Assassin's Creed 2 is fun as hell and that's an exception, but even games I like from them like PoP 2008/Conviction have questionable design choices that make you want to smack someone that works for them.

Yet SW is the most annoying place, you cant find any place there people complain more :P
