All we seem to be doing on System Wars lately is to bash developers and publishers for making lazy ports, rehashes and cross-gen titles that don't fully capitalize on next-gen systems capabilities. Can we change our spiel or a moment and praise those who are worthy? They don't necessarily have to be multiplats by the way!
Which developers would you consider the least lazy when it comes to delivering next-gen experiences so far? I'd say the latest Monolith's iteration of LithTech engine fared quite well on PS4 and Xbox One despite Shadow of Mordor being a cross-gen title. I'd also say Creative Assembly despite working on PS3 and X360 delivered a respectably next-gen experience in Alien Isolation. Normally I wouldn't have mentioned AI, but the botched job Ubisoft did with PS4/X1 versions of Far Cry 4 compelled me to do so. What's your say? I hope someone will mention something that will surprise me or I hadn't thought of.
