Yes, imo dualshock 1, 2, 3 all have a different feeling to them

Playstation 1- I can't coment on the Dualshock 1 controller because I haven't used it in years

Playstation 2- The dualshock 2 felt weird to me after using the Playstation 3's Dualshock 3. Not ony were R2 and L2 buttons instead of triggers, the whole controller felt smaller. Also, the anolog stickes were bigger and harder to move

playstation 3- The Dualshock 3 was my favourite. The anolog sticks had more room to spin and the controller felt wider. My only problem was the R2 and L2 triggers, they just don't feel right

I really find the PS3 triggers to be meh, and that the controller is just too light, feel like I'm gonna break the thing half the time. However, I haven't used it enough to really give a clear answer.

get a Dual Shock 3 controller, buy the real triggers, its an attach thing you click on, it feels like a real trigger...i think its from giotek or something.

I actually voted for 2. I love the wireless capabilities of the 3, but just like my Sixaxis, the DS3 feels a bit cheap and hollow.

i'd go with the DS2 controller i prefer the stonger and stiff analogue sticks..the DS3 controller feels to loose concerning the sticks.

I like the DS2 analogs sticks the best... they felt tighter and didnt wear out so fast. As for everything else, the DS3.
