BAYONETTA 2 (Either on PS 4 Pro or PC ) as i never owned WiiU.I wanted to play it so much. Alas, thats not gonna happen as i read its Nintendo WiiU exclusive IP :(
Well?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Bayo 2 and Bloodborne to PC. Played and own both, but I'd like to experience them without the inherent shit that comes with the hardware they're tied to.
Between those two I'd take Bayo 2 since it's something I'll enjoy replaying for years.
You should not give the best reply in the OP :(. Maybe it will be released on iOS in a couple of years lol.
Everything as long as it doesn't affect the quality of main version. If I have to pick top 3, then Bayonetta 2, Uncharted 4 and Rachet & Clank (this gen). Don't know how well R&C performs on PS4 but Bayo 2 and UC 4 will really benefit from running at 60fps.
I own a Wii U and PS4. I pretty much have access to any exclusive I really want.
Having said that I wouldn't mind trying Sunset Overdrive.
Bloodborne. Right now it's the only game on PS4 I really want. Although I would get Ratchet and Clank, and hopefully TLG is decent

thats my vote as well. since I have a PC, XB1, and PS4 it's the only game i felt i missed out on this gen. I would love to see it come to any other platform.
Splatoon(on PC) and The legend of Zelda:breath of the wild(On ps4)even tho I know it will never happen.
All of them. Exclusives are a plague to the games industry. You should not have to buy proprietary hardware to play a game. Games should be united on an open platform such as PC. You can still have consoles with set specs in this eco-system to simplify things for peasants.

This, let me choose what system I want to play a game on.
Really doesn't matter to me, unless it's a PC exclusive I'll get to play it if I want too, I have all the consoles. I'm never left out in the cold when it comes to games.
None. I have no problem buying a system if I wish to play something. I have never in over 30 years of gaming bought a system with a game in mind and not found others to play on it after.
raiden v on xbox one. it's honestly the only game I want the console for so I can't justify buying an xb1.. even for a slim at $180, that still means I'd be paying around $250 to play just that game.
Bayo2 on PC would be slick, I own it but wouldn't mind running it well... but that's only a matter of time before the wii u emu gets the job done properly
Xenoblade Chronicles X...the original is one of my favorite games of all time and I really want to play the sequel but I don't want to buy a Wii U.

30 frames. All 4 ratchet games on the PS2 were 60 frames. Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time were 60 frames on PS3. http://kotaku.com/5393106/insomniac-dev-ratchet--clank-probably-our-last-60fps-game
None to be honest.
I'm quite satisfied with everything so far the XBOX ONE has to offer. More newer sustainable IPs would be nice, if they are done right, made by good talented developers and are viable enough with a strong fanbase. At this point, The ONE already suffices.
If I wanted to play Nintendo games, I'd go buy a Nintendo console.

I would have pegged you as also owning a PC with how much you talk about valuing deeper gameplay.
Anyways, as for me, I'm with everyone else who has said they wish all games were multiplatform. Exclusives really are backwards. No other digital media works the way games do in this regard.
I would personally like to play all of Platinum's games on PC this instant though.
Originally Bayo 2 but I gave in and got a Wii U. The Halo games are already on the way to PC so, I'm good.
I'd also like to state that the Wii U gamepad and Pro controller are absolute garbage for Bayonetta 2, that game deserved better.

Well that sucks.
Persona games (3/4/5).
Sony did good nailing down exclusivity, at least for themselves. What that leverage they used was, I don't know, maybe they didn't do anything and Atlus just felt that's where the game belonged. But, I find this series to be one of the most successful of the SMT games and subseries in having broader appeal, modestly challenging (rather easy compared to the hardcore SMT fans). But, great gameplay, great characters and excellent localization from the writing and voice talent. Excellent balance between the social and dungeon crawling aspects. And visually, though they don't push the barrier with visual superficialities like character models, high polygon counts, resolution and framerate performance, all that stuff people care too much about, their visual flare is all in their art direction, and these games generally have some very decent soundtracks. It's a very palatable gateway game to the SMT series and even JRPGs in general. And, IMO, one of the more unique JRPGs. They have very one platform focused on all their games; and I feel, they're really selling themselves short this way.
In the 6th/7th gen overlap, when I got into Persona 3 & 4, there was such a long period of time I thought they were ignoring one of the best opportunities to expand the series. Mainly with the absence of Square Enix last gen for a considerable time. They spend years working on their White Engine / Crystal Tools development assets. Their development or publishing was limited to some generic and underwhelming JRPGs like Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant, Star Ocean, and even the long awaited FFXIII titles were met with overwhelming disappointment. Even those most enthusiastic JRPG fans seemed to latch onto some rather niche games and series of not much significance. Still, Atlus, who nailed two great JRPGs back to back with the Persona games, they didn't follow through on that momentum. They made Catherine, great game, but not a Persona sequel. They made a bunch of SMT games on DS/3DS, Devil Survivor 1 & 2, Strange Journey, Soul Hackers, SMT4, Devil Survivor 1 & 2 remakes, Persona Q, SMT4: Apocalypse, and on PSP/Vita like Persona 4 The Golden, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Persona 3 Portable, Dancing All Night, and on consoles the two Persona 4 fighting games... but all that, they failed to really make a big multiplatform entry in the series, or a timely follow up console sequel or re-release.
As an Xbox fan, I'd love to see the Persona series go there, yet I realize Japanese developers have very little interest doing that without incentive as it really has no place in their domestic market. But even that aside, they've sold themselves short not making use of other avenues like the Wii/WiiU or PC. Even if Sony might have tied down exclusivity or time exclusivity to Persona 5 on PS3/PS4, there's so much opportunity to make a collection out of Persona 3 & 4. Persona 4: The Golden is already made, updated, it could easily just be ported to existing consoles, wouldn't take much money or resources to put it on PS4, Xbox One, PC, heck, they don't even need to waste the talents of the studio working on Persona 5, it'd be the perfect thing to outsource to a competent third party. If they were to do a collection, then throw in Persona 3, at the very least give us the FES version as a straight upscaled port; and at the most ambitious, combine elements of P3P and FES, like P3P's full party combat control, the extra social links and female protagonist. And, that's not to say I'd expect such a move to be instantly beneficial; at the very least, I don't think it would lose them money, and rather it has the potential to lay roots to help the series grow in the future.
And, I also feel that making the older games modern multiplatform ports could really help sell their future entries, or could have. I already played Persona 3 & 4, so getting a PS4 to play Persona 5 was a must for me, I already got my PS4 last holiday season hoping Persona 5 was to release in 2016 (unfortunately the worldwide release was pushed to 2017). But, give everybody else that opportunity to dabble in maybe on of the best JRPG series of the last decade, maybe they too might show interest in this next entry in the series. Maybe some without a PS4 might rethink getting one. Maybe they might buy a 3DS to branch out with some of those other great SMT games. Maybe they might fire up their PS3, download some of those modest $10 SMT games in the PS2 Classics like Persona 3 & 4, Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2, or the two Devil Summoner games.
Even if making it on the Xbox is taboo among Japanese devs and western Japanophiles, seriously, don't sell yourself short Atlus, at least put it on PC. I'd really like to see the series be more successful, and I think at least branching out is the only way they're going to do it. The series has been at the top of their game so I don't think just making another fantastic entry is going to do them any better upping the value of the series, they really just need to reach more people with each release. And, at very least, give us a modern updated Persona 3/4 collection while you're at it.
@BassMan: oh brother...without exclusive games there would be no point to multiple hardware makers.
Also, consider the fact that many of the exclusive games are made by studios owned by Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.
The last time I checked... there are companies that just make hardware and companies that just make software. OMG, how would the world survive if there weren't companies that did both? Seriously man.... think. Companies could still make consoles just like there are companies that make blu-ray players that aren't making movies. Sony / Nintendo / Microsoft would become publishers just like Activision/ EA /Ubisoft. Everybody would release games on a universal platform with set standards. Developers could target the console as the minimum spec and scale up the experience for people with more advanced PCs. This is already happening with the Windows 10 initiative. We just need Sony and Nintendo on board.

Isnt Bayo something you can really experience at its best on a console ? Plays great with a pad plus its not that some extra filtering or smoother textures will make the game any better or feel different unlike Bloodborne that will get some nasty differences in atmosphere and overall goresome graphical fidelity , ( which again depends if developers want to ).
EDIT : Just saw someone say game runs below 60 fps on Wii U ... so nvm i guess thats your reason too
@indzman:
Metroid. It's not like Nintendo is doing shit with it anyway. Might as well give it to another 3rd Party developer who'll treat Samus right!

It's excellent, sure, it might even be my favorite game this gen as is. But "at its best"? Nah.
My gripes in order of importance to me:
- The game performs really well in most situations, but it's not a locked 60. It would definitely benefit from a performance boost on PC.
- Playing this game on the WiiU pad feels like garbage, playing it on the WiiU Pro controller feels much better, but still not optimal. There are a few controllers I'd prefer for this game, and I can use all of them on PC.
- Yeah, image quality. It's not too bad once you get used to it, but I game on PC all the time, so when I would go to play this game on the WiiU that shit would stick out like a sore thumb. The game has great animation, vibrant colors, amazing effects, and just cool visual design all around... but it's all brought down by a lack of AA, AF, and running in 720p.
I just want better performance, crisp image quality, and a better controller, none of which the WiiU can provide. It may sound like nitpicky stuff, but for such an enjoyable game with such high replay value, I'd like to see it in better form.

Yeah...umm...uhh...Insomniac was never REALLY into 60 fps ^_^
Around 3:40 onwards...yeah

You make no sense.

The game would play better on a 360 pad, better framerate, cleaner image quality, better visuals. There isn't a game on planet earth that wouldn't be better for having a PC version done right.

Why would they sell off their studios? Where did that come from? They can continue to profit off the games they release just like the other mega publishers. Most gamers only care about the games they make and will continue to buy them on a universal platform. I don't give a shit about the hardware or services of Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo. I do care about Uncharted, Halo, and Mario though.
@jcrame10: They will continue their greedy and anti-consumer practices for the time being. However, we will most likely see them shift towards games as a service. I would be okay with that as they can each have their storefront on PC and I wouldn't have to waste money on consoles that I only play exclusives on.
Exclusivity is the staple of the console manufacturer's business model, so all of this is just an exercise in futility. That said, these are the current games that - more than all others - would be better off on multiple platforms:
There are others, of course, but those jump most immediately to mind.
